it was a cool [frick]ing film. p.s. stop with all the kristen stewart hate. she is a damn fine woman and and a good actress

I thought it was all flash and no bang. Very well shot, but the story was lacking. As for Stewart, I don't hate her, but I do disagree with geeekgod and I don't think she is a good actress, having seen this, Twlight (Girlfriends fault) and The Runaways she always feels like she is being directed, she never feels and looks natural in a role, and thus comes across quite monotone, as never loses herself to the role.

I just thought it was the most boring thing ever. Not that it was a terrible movie, just that it was sooo boring. That said Kristen wasn't terrible in this as she usually is but she certainly still isn't good, luckily she had surprisingly few lines. Also what the frick was up with that white horse randomly being there? Just bad writing all around

Parts were iffy but overall it was fantastic! They nailed the LOTR tone they were going for. It was very well shot and designed. Charlize Theron stole the show w/her acting, and even stupid Twilight girl didn't ruin it with her ONE EXPRESSION THE ENTIRE MOVIE lol

The only reason I saw this was because of Hemsworth. And yep, he was the only thing I liked about it.

good visuals from cg to art design to cinematography but weak script and terrible pacing for a long film(over 2hrs)...it got boring then interesting and back to boring...theron was good except all the yelling...stewart had me losing by the end, people kept saying things and u thought she would respond but she just kept looking at the camera

This is true fantasy. Any time we are supposed to believe that Stewart is prettier than Theron means they are asking for the impossible.

It was cool to look at, I mean visually, I liked it alot. Story-wise it was meh.

The rally troop speech might have been the worst part @eleven59! i agree. Stewart obviously thinks a rousing speech means shouting at certain parts of a speech and not changing expressions at all haha.

hey I admit the movie was a beautifully when it came to the set designa nd VFX, but story was dreadful. Story dragged and then they wrapped it up in 5 mins at the end. Charlize theron was the best thing about the movie and thats really it.
