I LOVED them all, apart from Ghost Rider, of course. Avengers was insane. TDKR was even more insane, i'm seeing it for the second time in a few hours! But I'm a Spider-Man guy at heart, so I obviously got the most enjoyment out of Amazing Spider-Man.
A great year for not only comic book fans, but to continue the cause to gain world-wide respect for the superhero movie genre.

While I appreciate TDKR as the better film, I came out of Avengers a lot more giddy and excited... that made my decision for me.

"The Avengers" wears the crown, by far. Everything else was a disappointment.

Avengers was the best superhet movie and comic movie that was closest to comics,.. Dark knight was just a great nolan movie with nolan characters, that he made from his ideas and gave em batmans villians names... The DKRISES WAS A MADE UP NOLAN STORY NOT A BATMAN STORY

Box office is meaningless - it doesn't make Transformers a better film than Memento.

What's great is that the poll is so split. This proves BOTH films (TDKR and Avengers) were truly epic! I voted TDKR for the sheer emotional impact and since it was the finale to a trilogy. I voted Marvel as best studio due to the fact The Avengers was the first film of it's kind. A great achievement for the CBM genre!

The Avengers hands down. Better made, better written, better acted, better paced and better action than any of the others. Biggest disappointment was Dark Knight Rises. At least we expected Ghost Rider to be shit (TDKR wasn't THAT bad, but compared to expectation the disappointment was greater).

TDKR is fresher on my mind and stirred up all kinds of emotions buuut what they did with The Hulk puts The Avengers over the top. TASM was badass too.

I love how somebody made that box office gross comparison between transformers and memento. He would say memento because he is a Nolanite.

I hat it when people say Avengers had too many one liners. Watch the batman trilogy and really pay attention to how many LAME one liners are in the movies. And they are aimed at grown ups, Avengers is aimed at a wide age group.
At least the one liners in The Avengers were funny...

TDKR was a visually lush and satisfying film. It was weighty and grown up with fantastic performances. That said, Avengers rocked out what it means to be a summer movie. Tons of fun. I'm gonna go with Avengers.

im disapointed in this poll becouse the year is not yet over and those not mentioned may be better than those listed, and judge dredd is mainstream and i think it will be the stalking horse of all CBM's this year

Avengers. The onlynthing I wasn't completely happy about was the fact that ant man wasn't in it. As for wasp, I could care less. But having black widow and hawkeye instead of the original just didn't set well with me. But overall, it's my favorite. Followed by spiderman. Haven't seen batman yet, but from all the reviews and good hype, I am definitely going as soon as possible.
