if they are smart (but it's FOX, so who am I kidding) they will pick a relatively unknown... like they did with Thor.

personally, i think if someone is already in a comic book movie, they dont need to play another character. Idris Elba, Ron Perlman, RYAN FRIGGIN' REYNOLDS!!!!! Joseph Gordon-Levitt was in The Dark Knight Rises (i can see them continuing with his character) and Michael Fassbender, while he is a PHENOMENAL actor, he's already Magneto and you never know when/if they'll crossover X-Men and Daredevil with the MCU. so i think if someone is playing one cbm character, they shouldnt be in another cbm

unfortunately MCH is probably a bit too old. JGL might be fine but can't imagine him. Fassie is Magneto so no. Damon also too old. Bradley Cooper's too much of a pretty boy. He's a great actor but the role would be more about him rather than DD. So yer, maybe a more unknown actor would be better. Someone people know, who wont overshadow the character

@randymongoose how is he too old when born again comic is based on an experienced DD

MCH all the way he is actually a ginger

and his role as dexter will really help him for DD

I don't like any of them as DD, to be honest. It's a hard one to cast. Somebody said Josh Hartnett, recently. I can see that.

i voted for MCH, but joel edgerton is not a bad choice at all. i hadn't even thought of him. the more i think about it the more i'm thinking that could be a really inspired casting pick. good call.

Based on Limitless (see it if you haven't yet) I could see Bradley Cooper pulling it off. I mean, they were talking about casting him in the Crow awhile back. If I had to pick someone else we haven't seen in a major CBM before, I would probably go with either Jim Caviezel or Milo Ventimiglia. Although, whoever mentioned Joel Edgerton may have been onto something.

they need a no name for it to work. otherwise there will be too much of a reference to other movies they have done. just like green lantern.

Leave the character to the comic books too many B list characters are being made into movies , Daredevil and Ghost rider are prime examples of comic book characters that have been made into movies that the public have not embraced , stick to the main stream ones and don't bore the public with too many B list characters.

Daredevil in 2003 was quiet good. The problem was at that time CBM wasn't quiet hyped. And public didn't familiar to Marvel superheroes beside Spider-Man , X-men. And the dark tone of 2003 Daredevil wasn't acceptable for viewers at that time.

For now, i believe New Daredevil movie would be great and favorable if its being treated seriously. By the way i dont care who will play as Murdock . Please bring DD again to CBM. I love Daredevil.
