I'm sorry but I just can't see Bridget Regan playing the part. She looks too old for one thing. We need someone younger or at least younger looking, and Regan is also too small for the part.

Gemma Arterton is by FAR the best choice. Wonder Woman is not American. She does not have (or at least should not, contrary to the cartoons) an American cadence nor have the personality of just another female hero beating up the dudes. She is ROYALTY. She should have a regal vibe about her that projects power, confidence and control. None of the mentioned actress, save one, have that in them.

Not saying they cant 'act' it, but they are a far cry from it in personality and screen presence. Boggles my mind how people think Olivia Wilde can pass as Wonder Woman. Decent actress, but she has zero qualities of WW, character wise or physically. Same with Charlize. Spectacular actress, best on the list.

I am a huge Gina Carano fan from her MMA days and really enjoyed Haywired. Thought it was fantastic. But she doesnt have the physical elegance or presence required. Just think, would she pass off as royalty/goddess to you? Not really. She sure can kick butt though.

Most of the people you all are naming are too small, too thin, too old, etc. Gina Carano is the only one with the size and bravado to pull it off but she is not a good actress...so this role is difficult and a bit of a pickle.

I don't know how anyone can NOT put Gina Cararo as the best to play WW. Just take one look at her, then watch how she acts. Perfect.
