Clark Gregg has been a real highlight in the Marvel films, and it would be great to see him bring Agent Coulson back in any way. Coulson as Vision would be a nice way to bring in the character.

What an amazing piece of art that is..

This is a great sculpture, but if they do ever bring him back as Vision the costume might need some slight adjustments. Why would an android based on Coulson have a weird cowl thing?

stunning art! kudos to the conceptor :D
deanwilkins - 8/17/2012, 8:10 AM
I really hope he will be Vision. The sculpture is amazing! Bring back Coulson!!!
vtopa - 8/17/2012, 8:15 AM
Vision should be played by Paul Bettany, and it should be J.A.R.V.I.S.
CoulsonLives - 8/17/2012, 8:36 AM
@vtopa I agree
KrazyForKomix - 8/17/2012, 8:41 AM
vtops is on to something.
But it would be okay if they went canon and used the original Jim Hammond since he was easter egged in Cap's movie.

Vision shouldn't be all wrinkled.
SuperSomething616 - 8/17/2012, 9:26 AM
As much as I love Clark Gregg in the MCU bringing him back will just piss all over his noble sacrifice...

Also i dont see how they could make him the vision...

guys, if they bring coulson back, then the marvel cinematic universe follows the marvel comic universe in one key area: THERE ARE NO STAKES AND LIFE/DEATH MEAN NOTHING.

we all know what a joke it is when someone dies in marvel's comics - because they will be back within a year. i thought the movies could take a different, more noble approach and actually have some shred of dignity when approaching the value of their characters lives. just my opinion though.

Great piece!

However, I agree with marcvader1. I'd like to see it with far fewer wrinkles and eyes that are a solid color.
SpideyQuad - 8/17/2012, 9:47 AM
Yeah, look at Buckey he was only dead for... like 50 years!

Maybe you should form your own opinion, you know when you feel the need to state it...
Nomis1800 - 8/17/2012, 9:50 AM
He looks the part, but he can't act. Period.
DanMcNice - 8/17/2012, 10:22 AM
The art is great, but agent Coulson should remain dead.
VicSage - 8/17/2012, 11:52 AM
I think people MAY be missing the point that most of us who are Pro-Coulson/Vision are promoting.

Agent Coulson is DEAD... and should remain so. However, Clark Gregg should take the role of Vision who is modeled after Coulson. This Vision would have little to no recollection of Coulson's life but would maintain Coulson's undying loyalty to the Avengers' cause and would retain the basic love of humanity that Coulson had as well. In other words, Coulson is merely the template for an android. He may look like Coulson, but he'd be a character unto himself. I'm sure Clark Gregg would find it a challenge to play different character based on his original character however different. ;)

Please enough of this fanboy crap!
KrazyForKomix - 8/17/2012, 12:12 PM
QUIET!

(or nld3 SMASH!)
KrazyForKomix - 8/17/2012, 12:22 PM
By the way way, the answer is NO! Gregg is gone from all future Avengers movies. He should have signed the "I'll-be-available-forever-clause" if he wanted to do more movies and then his character woudn't be dead.
Obviously we need Ultron to get Vision. Not ONLY is it a great idea for the plot to an Avengers flick (you KNOW the story), not ONLY is the concept of robots coming to life eternally appealing, but you also have the added BONUS of it being "historically" accurate.
Thank you.

Vin Diesel changed his FB profile pic to the Vision, so if we get Vision, Vin Diesel may be our man.
manofmidgard - 8/17/2012, 3:59 PM
loved coulson
love the vision
but it wouldnt make sense for coulson to be the vision
and after seeing that sculpture its obvious that coulson does not look right as him
i still really want the vision though!
besides we already saw the vision's body in captain america, in stark's expo, the synthetic man on display in the background
ScionStorm - 8/17/2012, 5:00 PM
Coulson's personality is nothing like the Vision. -_-; the Clark Gregg/Vision conclusion still eludes me.

Plus, until I see his corpse in a coffin I don't believe anything Nick Fury tells the Avengers to guilt trip them. When Coulson get's out of life support/surgery he is going to flip when he sees what Fury did to his prized collection of Captain America cards.
Osirisno6 - 8/17/2012, 6:17 PM
Anyone actually realizing that Vision is the creation and once henchman of Avengers (Mostly the Ant-Man's) arch-nemesis, Ultron?

I would love to stick with the real story and have Vision introduced in an Ultron storyline, whether it happens in an Avengers movie or in one about Ant-Man ... I hate it when things are reinvented in movie scripts!... And the worst part is that it happens in almost EVERY Super Hero Movie...

Stop raping the origins!!!
ShadesAtKnightII - 8/17/2012, 6:25 PM
Why are people soooo against this?
lntrn8 - 8/17/2012, 9:49 PM
He's dead Jim.
Finley - 8/18/2012, 7:21 PM
