Such a solid finale!!

I think this finale sets up next season to be even more exciting/interesting than last season's finale did this season.

I like Helena being in the fold with Clone Club. I liked Ferdinand's 180 and him working with CC could be interesting/entertaining. Is Delphine dead? Who shot Delphine? Is Cosima's gf actually a monitor?? How hot is Cosima's gf?? What the serious f*ck is going on with Rachel's storylines??

Man I can't wait for next season!

@TheAcuario - "WOW the season finale tonight was intense. Kinda felt like a series finale in a way..."

No way did it feel like a series finale! I'd be LIVID!! hahaha. They closed a lot of storylines, but opened/started plenty more. I really hope it's not a series finale I have too many questions left, dammit! haha.

Such a great episode. My only problem with it was in how it sort of wrapped the Castor stuff up in too tidy of a bow. Rudy's dying speech was just amazing. A total reversal on the stereotype of "emotionless clone soldiers grown in vats" to imagine them all huddling up in the corner... Really just powerful stuff.

Also, Ferdinand and Donnie both went from me not really caring for them as characters to being up there with the rest of Clone Club. And there have been some sketchy compositing this season, but that Last Supper was amazing. I only watched it once, so I can't say "seamless", but it looked really damn good. Plus, the narrative of the scene really worked too. Something as silly and trivial as school trustee in the context of global bioengineering still totally landed. I was as proud of Alison as I was of Sarah.

And for someone whose was gutted by Mrs. S ripping Helena away from her sestras in the last season finale, this is me watching when Donnie shows Helena Jesse's Towtruck and Jesse gets out...

For reuniting Helena and her boyfriend, I deem Donnie the real hero of season 3.

Oh, and Neolution is back. I was hoping we were going to see more gene freaks, and extreme body-modders in the show, but it went real corporate for seasons 2 and 3. It looks like now we might see some Dark Angel style shenanigans.

One more thing about this last season as a whole... I really really miss Beth. I've been thinking it was "I miss Sarah pretending to be Beth", since we never really got to know her. But I honestly think it's more that you can really feel her absence.

And I don't mean just because people mention her, and there are hallucination ghosts or whatever. I really feel like there was an empty chair at that party where Beth belonged, and the show is really effective at making that very grounded tragedy of the death/absence of a family member resonate.

This was a beautiful and actually a pretty happy finale(compared to season 1 and 2's endings especially season 1, that was just cruel), it also set up next seasons story. Now who the [frick] shot Delphine ? Am pretty sure she's dead, but I feel like the writers left it a bit ambiguous in case they change their minds and what to bring her back. Shay is still quite the suspicious character but that might just be Orphan Black paranoia(Could she have shot Delphine ? eh .. too obvious). See this is what happens when Clone club works together, the plan actually works. Rudy and Helena scene was so touching and it gave us some insight into the male clones. I really expected some of the castro and Leda clones to sort of recognize that they're
brother and sister and maybe work to fight against the factions that have been controlling them. Really would like to see some brother and sister bonding and some empathy from both sides towards each other maybe sometime next season. Am actually happy we finally have the big bad,Neolution has been pulling the strings behind both project, it seems they're heading into a more sc-fi/bio-tech season that's a bit more season 1. I really appreciated that they explained just how Sarah got to Mrs.S and made it make sense ... of course Kendall stirred Sarah(a part of her) to her daughter(god I love this show). The last scenes Kira and Sarah reunion was wonderful and earned. Poor Rachel, her life just sucks but hey she's finally got a child.Overall a satisfying finale, and now the wait begins for season 4.

I also miss Beth(Sarah pretending to be Beth) I like the way you put it because I do get that feeling regarding Beth, like an emptiness.
Hell even Sarah feels Beth's absence.

I really liked how they showed us who Sarah thought Beth was based on her limited knowledge of her.

Yup this season finale was actually pretty clean compared to the last two. Ferdinand's hate for neolutionist led to an alliance and a hilariously violent scene(I think he might actually have a soft spot for Rachel).

"How hot is Cosima's gf??"

Which one ? Also they both look pretty good to me. Apparently Cosima likes blondes.

Yeah they could've gotten a little more out of the Castor storyline, but I think they made the right decision shifting the direction of series/season. I mean really the only reason I would've liked it to continue is to see more the different Castor clones. The seemed closer knit bc they were raised together and I they could've gotten more out that dynamic. And yeah Rudy's speech was pretty f*cking great and further supports why I wouldn've enjoyed learning more about them.

Ferdinand & Donnie deserve more screen time next season, for sure! They've done 180s for me.

"And for someone whose was gutted by Mrs. S ripping Helena away from her sestras in the last season finale, this is me watching when Donnie shows Helena Jesse's Towtruck and Jesse gets out..."

The "hello, Jesse Towing" scene and the parallels between Helena's dream sequence to start the season & the family dinner scene to end season were great!

@TheAcuario - "I said it felt like a series in a way because it felt like they wrapped almost of the story lines smoothly while giving us something new to look forward too."

Got ya! I was just giving you a hard time because I'm entrigued by the new storylines and would hate not to see those tied up as well as those from this season. And I know what you mean about how well they tied up storylines. Community and Parks & Rec had several brilliant episodes that were great and closed up storylines so well, they too felt like series finales. Granted, a few of the season finales were done that way because both series weren't guaranteed the next season so they wrapped things up as well as possible just in case. Oh and like the Wire season four!! That was a perfect series finale and for two years it was, until they came back and did the brilliant season five and the true series finale was even better, in my opinion.
