@MexicanSuperman I remember reading an article about that forget what the exact size was that the article mentioned, but yeah apparently you do need a huge TV to really tell the difference with 4K at all.

I can tell the difference on my computer screen.

Either way I'm getting the Batman v Superman collector's edition. Already got the Man of Steel one, which is pretty sick. I can only imagine what they're going to do for the Batman v Superman one and Suicide Squad.

"The Force Awakens" was awesome, @grif!

Put anything in 4k and I'll buy it.

I'm not sure 4k can save some of those movies, but it's all good.

@MexicanSuperman
I'd say 60 inch and above would work just fine, and I say this from experience. I've watched films on my tv that we're standard blu-ray, and I had the "soap opera effect" turned on. You'd think you were in the movie, those things look so clear and realistic. Honestly looks better than on a movie screen.

Just had a friend bring Ant-Man on blu-ray over to my house, and the movie looked beyond epic. I can't wait to see what a 4k blu-ray looks like on my tv.

I just watched Man Of Steel on blu ray last night actually

It looks [frick]ing amazing even without the 4K ultra blah blah. Hands down the best looking CBM ever.

Pan in 4k ultra HD?
Why even bother

Why release Pan? Nobody will buy it. The box office numbers show

@Th0rOdinson

Man Of Steel is by far the best looking CBM of all time. Even Marvel's best looking films like Iron Man or Guardians don't live up to the visual quality of it.

But dat's just me

@grif - Come on now, it was awesome.

And I hope WB desaturates MoS for this release. Make it look pretty at least. Who in their right mind would want to see a bland looking film on 4K UHD TV?

I'd rather watch Ant-Man than Pan
And that's saying something

Doesn't matter, I didn't get a blu ray player until last year so...I'll probably have to wait close to a decade before I think to buy 4k hd stuff.

@Th0rOdinson

"well at least thor 2 has some life in it"

To me, Thor 2 is the most lifeless out of the MCU. It was dull and boring. Man Of Steel's action, effects, costume design, visual design were far superior.

The Krypton parts of MOS were incredible! Looked the visual design and cinematography.

Will MOS in 4K still be dull garbage.. Yup
Pasto
Pasto - 1/4/2016, 6:43 AM
Even though "Man of Steel" has a really bad after-taste, it still is one of the best looking comic book films out there (right there next to "The Winter Soldier" and "The Amazing Spider-Man 2").

rofl Poor Thor "fans" if Ragnarok fails like the other 2 they would get the worst CBM trilogy ever.

When your only defense for a movie is its the best looking comic book movie, its not in a good place. Sure it looked amazing in parts but man thats one bad movie
Matador
Matador - 1/4/2016, 6:55 AM
@Pitt - Actually you don't need 4K to be in 3-D Samsung UHD 3-D tv can convert any movies, T.V shows, and video games in 3-D with a push of a button. Will give it that extra color depth feel.

Funny thing I tired it on an old school dvd anime Fist of the North Star in 3-D it actually made it look better.

Played a game on the 360 that was not 3-D it made the colors stand out more and added depth to the game too.
