@grif the unrated version isn't on the 3D bluray, it's on a regular 2D bluray in the same set, I don't know why they did it like that, but it is what it is. Best Buy has a pretty sweet alternate package if anyone's looking to pick it up.

my favorite superhero film of the year, but i dont know if making silver samurai a robot wasa good idea,i dont really buy his answer,why not just give armor to aperson in the film and you can still play up that idea

I wish someone had asked him why he decided to place the sequel after "The Wolverine" and before "X-Men: Days of Future Past"?

"how did you approach directing a superhero film differently than say a film like 3:10 to yuma"

"@N8_rocks I thought most respectful way to direct a "comic book" film was to do it the same as you'd make any other. Real. Raw. No different"

And this is why I have huge respect for James Mangold.

Then why even make the Robot the Silver Samurai...why not just another mech suit. Really had no connection to it's source material to even justify calling it that...but it did look pretty cool.

Also, he said nothing about Omega Red, which is why I read this in the first place.

@powercosmic

But umm silver samurai wasn't a robot

Here @Mangold, if you want to melt faces, match these...
