FOX sets premiere date for 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY; Yvonne Strahovski joins the cast
Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck) is the latest addition to the cast of 24: Live Another Day, the limited series, which picks up four years after Jack Bauer's last adventure. FOX has also announced the premiere date for the limited run.
It looks like Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer will have his hands full when he returns as Deadline reports that Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck, Dexter, I, Frankenstein) has joined the cast of 24: Live Another Day as Kate Morgan, a brilliant but impulsive CIA field operative in London, who will be hot on Jack's trail.
Sarah Walker, herself, later confirmed the news:
Following this news, FOX announced that 24: Live Another Day will premiere on May 5th with a two-hour special.
While not much more has been revealed about the plot, we do know that the twelve-episode limited series will pick up four years after Bauer's last adventure. It will be set and shot in London and will follow the exploits of agent Jack Bauer as he attempts to thwart another terrorist attack. It will continue to follow the real-time concept that made the original series popular, except with only twelve episodes, some hours of the day will be skipped. Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kim Raver, and William Devane will be reprising their original roles and the series will be adding newcomers Giles Matthey, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Michael Wincott, and Judy Davis to the cast.
Please leave a thumbs up below, thanks.
