I hope it is the pre-reboot Max Steel, it was kinda fun. The new one is really generic and boring

They should've done this 10 years ago or so. They could've had James Avery in it.

So it isn't based on the CGI-animated series PsychoManiacJacky posted a link to?

I heard of the new recent series on a cartoon streaming site and watched a couple of episodes.
it was alright but it didn't get me hooked on it. (or maybe i was watching too many other shows at the time)

and i have never heard of the old series though,, and i used to watch quite alot of tv on saturday mornings and after school (man i miss those shows back then, so much better than the crap out now)

This will be a future flop! If Mattel wants to make a movie out of a toy brand they own why not just do a Barbie movie...wait, never mind.

I think it's gonna be based on the new series they just came out with maybe a a year or two ago.

My kids love it.

Here's a live action trailer for the show:

If done right, this might be a very cool movie.

I watched this with my nephew one day and i found out that it rips off "Iron Man" except for the fact that the protagonist is a teenager.

Anyway, the cartoon was boring i dont know what kid or person would subject themselves to watching Max Steel.

The early 2000 show was better.
DarkSuperman
DarkSuperman - 2/6/2014, 5:43 PM
The 2000 version of max steel was one of the sickest cartoons ever. It was basically a 21st century version of the Six Million Dollar man combined with xXx , only minus Vin Diesel. That's the movie they should make. not this overly cartoony iron man crap their shoving down kids throats these days.

I loved the original Max Steel when i was younger. i had multiple action figures. i saw that they came out with a new one just a little bit ago and i watched a clip on youtube and it is utter crap. I hate cartoons nowadays. When i have kids someday they are going to grow up and the great stuff that i grew up with.

As far as kid's cartoons today, Adventure Time is the only thing worth watching.
GetsugaTensho22

Max Steel is awesome! It's a reboot of an old cartoon that was basically the UK's version of the Six Million Dollar Man (hence the name Steel, a pun on his cyborg parts).
The new reboot is about a teenager named Max McGrath who due to a big ongoing conspiracy/mystery surrounding his father, generates "Turbo Energy" and when he fuses with this alien symbiote named Steel, he can create this hi-tech power suit type things around himself. Like, Turbo Strength, Turbo Flight etc.
It captures the best of what Ben 10 used to be before it got super dark and edgy.

If you don't know what that is, you can just google it, instead of acting like confused deers in headlights.
GetsugaTensho22
GetsugaTensho22 - 2/6/2014, 11:46 PM
[frick] Adventure Time. That shit should not be shown to children. It's like a [frick]ed up Acid Trip, it's completely ridiculuous. Regular Show is also weird, but that seems more like a YouTube animated mini series instead of a cartoon on freaking Cartoon Network. No wonder American kids are all kinds of messed up.
GetsugaTensho22
GetsugaTensho22 - 2/6/2014, 11:49 PM
Finally, this is the embed. It's a live-action promo unrelated to this film, but it still serves to show just cool the show is.
