WHEN THE HUNTRESS MET THE CANARY — When Frank Bertinelli (guest star Jeffrey Nordling) is arrested, Oliver (Stephen Amell) knows it’s only a matter of time before his daughter, Helena, AKA The Huntress (guest star Jessica De Gouw), returns to town. To make matters worse, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is picked to try Frank’s case, putting her right in the path of Helena. Oliver tells Sara (Caity Lotz) he will handle his ex-girlfriend, but when Helena takes hostages at the courthouse, including Laurel, the Canary will stop at nothing to save her sister. When The Huntress and Canary meet, an epic battle begins. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) realizes he needs to keep Thea (Willa Holland) safe, but doesn’t like the way he is forced to go about it. John Behring directed the episode written by Mark Bemesderfer & A.C. Bradley.

Arrow is a modern retelling of the DC Comic character Green Arrow. Multi-millionaire playboy Oliver Queen is missing, and presumed dead after a shipwreck at sea. He is found five years later, having survived on a desert island off his wits and by mastering the bow and arrow. When he returns to Starling City however, he discovers that it is rife with corruption and crime. Oliver decides to put his skills to use by taking on the persona of Arrow and becoming the vigilante that Starling City needs.

Arrow features:
Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Arrow
Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak
David Ramsey as John Diggle
Willa Holland as Thea Queen
Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance
Susana Thompson as Moira Queen
Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance
Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke
Colton Haynes as Roy Harper
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/Canary

Arrow returns March 26.

Arrow has some of the best fight sequences on TV. Especially on TV Budget.

"I'm a woman of my word" !!!

Everything I see from this show just reminds me of Smallville. And not in a good way.

Huntress definitely had some more training... No way she beat the Canary, especially a version trained by the League of Assassins.

Yawn. This choreography is so repetitive, and why is it always so dark? Every fight looks like the last. Oh! She got thrown out a window. That's a little different than something falling on them. Sigh.

This show is losing my interest more and more. AoS at least has different kinds of fights. Some in close quarters and some in broad daylight.

I love the show although it's been a little slow lately. They need to amp this thing up a bit more next season. Their numbers are low, AOS numbers almost doubles Arrows and AOS is on the bubble. I hope neither one gets canceled, AOS really did a 180 with their last few eps.

@GURILLAPUD

Arrow is confirmed for a season 3 so its safe for a while, the low ratings can be attributed to the shows recent wonky release schedule.
