Before I edit the article, does anyone know if anyone else has written an article about this? I don't want to edit the article then find out someone has written it and waste all that time.

I especially don't want someone to delete my article if I edit it, and repost it saying "hey it's already been posted" when my article was before theirs.

See this is classy. Not the "Make Mine Marvel " or "Marvel is for Babies!!" BS. In fact if you have said either you should Gwen Stacy off a bridge because the comic book world and it's fans would be better off without you. Both of these companies recognize how important their characters impacts on childhoods and the business have been. They understand how when one has faltered the other has always been there to carry the torch in movies and TV. DC had its time before the mid to late 90's and Marvel has ruled the last decade for the most part while DC Batman and Robin'd itself. They have worked together on crossovers. The artist and writers for both for the most part regularly have worked for both campanies, the execs crossover. The flame war shows no respect for comic books in general or these artist's life work.
