Christoph Waltz Takes Over The Green Hornet Villain Role!

This guy played the most recent shockingly cool villain on the big screen.
This from deadline.com:


"I'm told that ICM's actor Christoph Waltz who won Best Actor at the Cannes Film Festival for playing a Nazi in Inglourious Basterds (and is a shoo-in for an Oscar nomination) has now been cast as villain Chudnofsky in Sony's The Green Hornet opposite Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz."

This is sweet news. If you have seen Inglorious Bastards then you know how good Christoph Waltz can play a cold blooded killer on screen. I still want to see this guy go up against the Bear Jew. 10-1 Bear Jew. But what a fun fight it would be to eat popcorn to.

If the below image is what the Green Hornet is gonna look like let's hope Christoph Waltz kicks this guy's Lilly ass all over the big screen

Cool, he looks like a VILLAIN!

Hopefully this has the feel of TIM BURTON'S BATMAN'S!

Leee - i like you - but why in the name of fcuk would this Hornet movie have the 'tim burton batman feel' to it?

hasn't this movie been through enough r@pe? making it into some wacky kid movie with Danny Devito chewing off a guy's nose wouldnt make sense at all. lol. You nutty Lee........you so nutty.

As for Waltz - I don't know if I like this choice at all...... His role in Inglourious though was one of the best on screen villians (hell - characters) of all time. He seriously nailed that role and he 'made' that movie.

He will be a great villain. That fake pic of Rogan as the Hornet looks like Joliet Jake Blues from the Blues Brothers movie but with a mask. lol

I have faith tho that this movie will be fun and entertaining... but im not holding my breath for the revolution.

never will go pay for this rogened hornet but Waltz can act.damn they made him squeeeel at the end of Basterds.good movie but nowhere near great.LEEE this is gonna feel like a colonoscopy.

He was brilliant in Inglorious (which was ok...some of it was just far too slow for me. Tarantinos idea of building tension just bored me half the time) and he would actually make quite a good Red Skull!!!

This guy is AWESOME!

by far the best actor in Inglorious Basterds (not saying everyone else sucked, they were amazing too, ust trying to show how awesome he is compared to the)

He's one of those guys you love to hate and hate to love at the same time.

I'm sold on Green Hornet now. I just want to see this guy again

Christoph Waltz played an amazing character in Inglourious Basterds. He definitely blew everyone away. I'm still a little leery about The Green Hornet (especially since the main attraction of the show was Bruce Lee who's obviously not in the movie), but if this movie does well, I'd assume it will be thanks to Christoph Waltz.

Thank goodness, at least Nick Cage ain't gonna be the villain! Waltz will bring class to GH. Still Rogen-bashing without hardly anything from the movie. Wait and see, I say!

Yesssss...Bring it on. IB was a fuuny movie. I love dark humor. If Waltz is in it. This movie has a chance. Make it Dark. VERY DARK.

He was great in Basterds, but i hope this is not the beginning of him being typecast in token villain roles. Not sure how good an idea this is for him to do...

i agree Ror.

Not sure I like him for this part so quickly after basterds....Might hurt his chances for Academy recognition if he starts playing this sort of role all the time now.....Guy's too good for that. Guess we'll have to wait and see though......I just don't see him being a fit - but at least he's better than Cage's sloppy melted ass.

And Leee is my homy. He knows I mean no harm.

I've toned down on insults......I truly have. Back in the day I would have flipped my sh!t when someone suggests Keanu for the Green Hornet. lol......Now I just shake my head, drool slightly and back away from my computer and count 10 deep breaths.

Haven't watched Basterds yet but I plan to do so, when it's shown in the cinemas here.

That Rogen Green Hornet Pic is funny... its hard to take him seriously if he looks like that in the movie.

bropous-Green Hornet is a lot more well known than Solomon Kane, so that kind of makes sense. Solomon Kane looks pretty sweet though. I'm sure someone will pick it up. And dude, what's with the caustic gay-bashing? Let's try to tone down the hate-speech, kay. This is supposed to be a friendly site.
