George Clooney Tells Us He Should Have Won An Oscar For His Performance In 'Batman And Robin'

No doubt right?
Ugh. The only thing that saves George Clooney from getting dragged through the dirt for his performance in 'Batman and Robin' is that he makes fun of his being the caped crusader. George knows how campy that film was. Everything else he has done has turned into box office gold. This from MTV:

I mentioned to Clooney, not every film he’s made has been an awards contender.

“Really,” he teased. “Do you think?”

And then, hilariously, Clooney went to town. “You’re thinking ‘Batman & Robin,’” he grinned, faking outrage. “Is that what you’re talking about? Are you trying to bring that one out?”

“There was a lot of Oscar buzz around ‘Batman & Robin’,” he insisted. “There was a ‘Best Codpiece’ award. And then they took that out, and I had no shot.”

So Comic Book Movie fans, what do you think? Was 'Batman and Robin' the absolute worst piece of movie making ever to be flushed out of Hollywood? Or was it not THAT bad? Vote below and sound off in the comments section.

CLOONEY for being cast as BATS back then is like having Ackles cast as CAP right now!!! ; P

B&R = Total sh1te!! ; D
LEEE777 - 12/4/2009, 9:44 AM
You cant blame him for doing a movie he wanted but the script was so bad it almost killed off batman from the theaters but there is no way he did a good job of acting in this movie

@LEEE i agree if you dont pick cast well a movie is doomed
tyko450 - 12/4/2009, 9:45 AM
Even BORIGINS was better!! ; D

Well a lil bit better lol!

And CATWOMAN bigger piece of Sh1te!!!
LEEE777 - 12/4/2009, 9:45 AM
the movie was better than Elektra
and THAT is saying something!
Wadey09 - 12/4/2009, 9:47 AM
Haha definite Oscar material.
Imran - 12/4/2009, 9:47 AM
It may actually be one of the worst movies ever made in any genre..I really don't remember hating a movie more. At least Catwoman had Halle Berry to look at!

It was in its ass better than Elektra! Cmon man, at least Elektra tried to be a proper movie, it attempted to entertain on some level. Shitmacker seemed to be purposefully trying to make the worst movie imaginable.
RorMachine - 12/4/2009, 9:49 AM
Best Use of Symmetric Rubber Nipples in a Supporting Role

And the winner is. . .
MultiPurposePoni - 12/4/2009, 9:49 AM
I can't stand that liberal clown...btw JMAN, not everything else he's done has been gold...he's had a LOT of box office bombs...TOOOOOONS.
TheDurkinKnight - 12/4/2009, 9:51 AM
Clooney would be the number 1 bats so far in my book!
hbk82287 - 12/4/2009, 9:59 AM
i dont think that movie was suppose to be takin seriously in the first place. i like to watch it for all the crappy dialogue and laugh my ass off. but i CANNOT watch catwomen... its too much
MichSam007 - 12/4/2009, 10:02 AM
I'm sure your right Durkin, I just wasnt going to spend 45 minutes researching the one or two bombs in his career that had nothing to do with CBM's in the first place. When people think of Clooney they think a solid movie, that is the publics conception of him and probably half of why he is succesful, the other half is he is a talented actor. The Batman and Robin script sucked and so did the casting choice. It looked like they found the guy who played Bain out of Multi's Sunday afternoon back yard wrestling matches. I mean what the hell. Arnold should have been bane and Mr Freeze should have been Patrick Stewart, and Schumacher should never be allowed to even watch movies ever again.
jman1977 - 12/4/2009, 10:07 AM
I disagree that 'Batman & Robin' is THE WORST CB film ever (although it is up there!). I think the top five (in no particular order) are:

1. 'Batman & Robin'
2. 'Nick Fury - Agent of SHIELD'
3. 'The Punisher' (Dolf Ludgren)
4. 'Steel' (Shaq's 'masterpiece')
5. 'The Fantastic Four' (1994)*

* - I know, I know, this film was techincally never released, but anyone who's ever seen a bootleg copy will agree with me that it belongs on this list!
loganoneil - 12/4/2009, 10:07 AM
I've seen worse... but that was pretty awful
batfan39 - 12/4/2009, 10:15 AM
Howard the Duck, yo. Howard the Duck.
imnotwearinghockeypants - 12/4/2009, 10:17 AM
Batman and Robin was as bad if not worse than Catwoman or 2005's Fantastic Four movie! ;)

At least Cloney has a sense of humour about it though!
JoshW - 12/4/2009, 10:25 AM
"SMUG ALERT" LOL

Yeah I would say just some of his stuff has been gold. The only movies of his I like were OH Bother and Oceans 11 the first one only. He has had a lot more crap fests. I hate B&R but IMO I think Solaris was worse. I dont pay to see his movies.

He is not that Gold he is #83 on Top Grossing Actors right under Tim Allen LOL
Dmon - 12/4/2009, 10:29 AM
In short it was an embarassment to: Movie making, Superheroes, Superhero fans, and Superhero Movies.

Nuff Said.
airbeyonder18 - 12/4/2009, 10:30 AM
It was the worst Batman ever (never though Adam West would be better than "someone") and it might have been the worst CBM ever but i can still think of worse movies than B&R.
Shaman - 12/4/2009, 10:38 AM
It was a piece of crap, an ABOMINATION! Bane could have been so cool, and as for the Haters!!!!!! I think Jensen Ackles would be good for Cap but not the best choice!
Jaymaster - 12/4/2009, 10:42 AM
You gotta love clooney, I mean he warned us how bad this movie was going to be. He went on a talk show and told the world that if they stopped him on the street he'd refund them their ticket price.
thwhtGuardian - 12/4/2009, 10:52 AM
Jaymaster @ Its not hating, he is a sh1t choice for CAP, a total mis-cast, i like the guy but no way can he stand there in AVENGERS with the the likes of RDJ, ED NORTON and SLJ, not in that role, its a joke lol!!

Though perfect HAWKEYE dude, perfect HAWKEYE!!!

LOGAN @ You cant include TV MOVIES dude, or theres JLA and many more etc lol!! ; D

TYKO @ Hell yeah lol!

WADEY @ ELEKTRA was better man!! : D
LEEE777 - 12/4/2009, 10:53 AM
movie just pissed me off... and his acting in it was awful.
WarNoodle - 12/4/2009, 11:21 AM
@MichSam
I know what you mean, dude, I watch it for the same reason too but your right Catwoman is horrible

@airbeyonder
You forgot all of humanity in your post lol
dancingmonkey08 - 12/4/2009, 11:33 AM
Ok Lee, you seem to understand what a Hater is so please explain it to me..Im still confused. See over on the Riddick article yourself and a few others were calling people that didn't like Vin Diesel haters...but here, its not being a hater to dislike Ackles..so what are the rules and regulations for this thing??;)
RorMachine - 12/4/2009, 11:34 AM
Is wasn't that bad. The writing and bizarro directing left a lot to be desired. He just wasn't someone you take seriously for the Batman role, look how ridiculous Adam West Batman was. Different interpretations of the role every time around is very inconsistent to the character.
SuperPowered - 12/4/2009, 11:41 AM
There aren't any Ror. "Being a hater" doesn't actually exist. It's a myth. Unless you dislike everything under the sun as you would put it ;)
Shaman - 12/4/2009, 11:41 AM
What's up Bitches, Johnylove here to say Clooney couldnt act his way out of a wet paper bag. If anyone should have goten an Oscar it should have been the dynamic duel of Michael keaton and Jack Nicholson tearing it up in 89. Clooney's just a pretty face I think i'll [frick] him. YOU CANT DO WHAT I DO!!!
JohnyToTheLove - 12/4/2009, 11:43 AM
Say what you will I like Clooney and he has done a lot great roles. Was Batman and Robin awful...YES! But as actors who portrayed Bruce Wayne he looked the most like the character. If he had worked with a descent script and not that piss poor director I think he would have been remembered as one of the better Bruce Waynes. As a matter of fact, I don't think any of the actors who have played Bruce have really hit it on the head. Keaton was the closest.
Cook - 12/4/2009, 11:53 AM
I can think of one good thing that came from this movie--The Reboot.
contrast - 12/4/2009, 11:53 AM
Joel Schumacher is a great director. If you dont believe? Watch these movies.
(Phone Booth, The Phantom of the Opera, Tigerland, Flawless, 8MM, Falling Down, Flatliners, The Number 23 and The Lost Boys)

Although i dont know what he was thinking when he directed Batman & Robin and Batman Forever?
AlexDeLarge666 - 12/4/2009, 12:07 PM
Shaman- So like Dr. Drapper and Grif, then? ;)
Shadowelfz - 12/4/2009, 12:09 PM
I liked it :(

but no oscar was deserved
Fartman - 12/4/2009, 12:17 PM
Batman & Robin was lame but I donr think it was worse than Catwoman and Elektra simply because the directors have those movies already had the privelage/misfortune of having a movie like B&R as a template of how not to treat comic book characters
breakUbatman - 12/4/2009, 12:17 PM
Clooney gets high off his own farts.
Dmon - 12/4/2009, 12:19 PM
@ LEE777 I dunno man, I sat through B&R in the theater thinking to myself.. Okay so this is like a 2 hour Adam West and Burt Ward reunion Movie.. I walked out of "Borgins" Pissed as hell demanding my money back.
Skot888 - 12/4/2009, 12:22 PM
ROR @ Different rules 4 different articles lol!!! ; D

SKOT888 @ Lol me too dude, well, i was thinking about asking for my money back on WOLVIE lmao was proper pissed!! : D

JOHNNY @ Hear hear man!! MICHAEL KEATON was the bomb, the best BATS ever!!!

An JACK was Awesome!!
LEEE777 - 12/4/2009, 12:28 PM
AlexDeLarge666- What he was thinking was the same as what Cameron was thinking when they developped the blue chic in Avatar. "It's gotta be someone i wanna [frick]". So that's how Schumaker made Batman. As someone he could [frick]. And boy did he ever!!!

Shadowelfz- Actually, Grif is redeemable ;P

Cook- My own personal list of "who's the best Bruce Wayne" in order:

1- Kevin Conroy
2- Michael Keaton
3- George Clooney
4- Rino Romano
5- Val Kilmer
6- Adam West
7- Christian Bale

And here's my Batman list in order:

1- Michael Keaton
2- Rino Romano
3- Kevin Conroy
4- Val Kilmer
5- Christian Bale
6- Adam West
7- George Clooney

So he definitely did something right. The Batman half of the character is as much Schumaker's fault as Clooney's IMO.
Shaman - 12/4/2009, 12:34 PM
instead of an oscar they shud just give him a solid gold dildo..just to represent what he did to batman
TheLivingWeapon - 12/4/2009, 12:35 PM
Clooney good actor, his script was bad & so where the visual effects.

@ Ror Hater, just a street term for: always finding fault in something, or jealous. thats all.
Spock - 12/4/2009, 12:38 PM
@Spock v true but i got another word for it aswel

i call it '80% of CBM users'
TheLivingWeapon - 12/4/2009, 12:41 PM
What's up Bitches, Johnylove here to say Clooney couldnt act his way out of a wet paper bag. If anyone should have goten an Oscar it should have been the dynamic duel of Michael keaton and Jack Nicholson tearing it up in 89. Clooney's just a pretty face I think i'll [frick] him. YOU CANT DO WHAT I DO!!!
JohnyToTheLove - 12/4/2009, 12:41 PM
@Shaman

The problem with Clooney as batman failing is he never changed Character from Bruce Wayne to Batman, he was always the same character. So he seemed very Adam West like in that regard, i do agree as Bruce Wayne Clooney was fine, but he just couldn't switch gears to batman and stayed Bruce Wayne the entire movie.
Skot888 - 12/4/2009, 12:44 PM
@JohnyToTheLove- or he could flash his batcard!!
TheLivingWeapon - 12/4/2009, 12:46 PM
@Shaman Bale is 10 times better then Val Kilmer. Val Kilmer looked Flabby. Rewatch the seen where Kilmer/Batman is arguing with Robin in the Bat cave where he had his shirt off sucks in his gut and buffs up his chest he looked ridiculous. Conroy is the best all around Batman then Bale comes second. The only reason people say Keaton was better then Bale is because he was the one they grew up with. If you took someone who was a comicbook Batman fan only and had never seen the movies and had him sit down to watch the movies he would pick Bale's version hands down. Keaton was always to short and reminding me of his Mr. Mom movie.
Dmon - 12/4/2009, 12:54 PM
@Dmon I like Keaton better than Bale as Batman, not because he's the one I grew up with, but because Keaton didn't sound like he was trying out for Deathclok like Bale did in TDK. Although I do like the emotion Bale brought to Batman, the voice was terrible.
Skot888 - 12/4/2009, 1:01 PM
Skot@ I do agree about the voice. But I think he can change that in the next movie.
Dmon - 12/4/2009, 1:07 PM
@Dmon.. For some reason, I would still choose Keaton's Batman (but only when he's in the suit). Bale is a better billionaire Playboy.

Making somebody compare a 1980s Batman film and a very recent one is quite unfair anyways, but that's another discussion. :-P

A comicbook Batman fan would also probably find that Keaton's Batman is a lot more true to source material. Considering that Tim Burton was directly influenced by Alan Moore's Killing Joke.
Imran - 12/4/2009, 1:08 PM
Oh and I forgot to say lol @ the Mr. Mom haha! What a film
Imran - 12/4/2009, 1:10 PM
Shaman@ buhahahahahahahaha Clooney even worst than West? This is true badness
MisterFixit - 12/4/2009, 1:22 PM
See the thing that makes me like the Nolanverse better than the Burton Films, is that Burton like a lot of film makers.. Killed the Bad guys off. to me this is just a Huge No No. I mean sadly Ledger Died IRL or else I'm sure we'd see the joker as a Major player through out the rest of the Nolanverse Movies. But sadly he passed, and now Nolan is unsure whether he'll do another one. (even though my money is on he will!)
Skot888 - 12/4/2009, 1:22 PM
Imran@ how would they think that? To this day it still pisses me off that he had the Joker be the one who killed his parents instead of Joe Chill. The story in Batman Begins was way better then Batman. Plus the Nickelson's Joker was a fat old guy. Nickelson would have been better if he had been as young as he was in Once Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest or the Shinning. And Keaton did not look as physically fit as Bale.
Dmon - 12/4/2009, 1:25 PM
Imran- Bruce Wayne is NOT a Billionaire Playboy. He's a rich yet down to earth business man. One BIG reason why i don't like what Nolan and Bale have done to Bruce. But i'm not going into that debate again. Let's just say that he doesn't "need" to be an asshole as an alibi.

Dmon- Since I included the animated series, i'm talking about straight up acting, not physical fitness. Val, George and Michael were fit enough IMO to pull off the role since their suit compansated. If the suit was made of cloth then of course not. They still out acted Bale IMO. Oh and i grew up watching reruns of Adam West. THEN Keaton came along so it has nothing to do with it. There are ALOT of people that actually prefer Keaton than Bale and for great reasons. It doesn't have to do with nostalgia. I watch Keaton's films regularly and Bale's as well since i still love them. But i prefer Keaton still. To each's own.

Skot888- That's actually why George is so low in my "Batman" list compared to my "Bruce" list.
Shaman - 12/4/2009, 1:27 PM
@Imran, I cant believe your making me do this again!..But you are. Please explain to me in what way are Burton's Batman movies faithful to the comics..and also, while you at it, please explain what in the name of holy Hell his movies had to do with The Killing Joke?

@Spock, yeah I know man, I just like [frick]ing with people that use the term since it nearly always only applies to people that can't handle other people opinions..they label them "haters"!
RorMachine - 12/4/2009, 1:28 PM
The good thing I like about Batman & Robin is Chris O Donnell when he played Robin. He was awesome.
Torian Brown - 12/4/2009, 1:33 PM
Yeah Imran, just say that Burton's films were closer to the comic book "feel", not the source material. Nolan's was actually closer to the book.

Torian Brown- IMO, he was the worst part. He acted very much like an athletic and pissed off Burt Ward. Yuk.
Shaman - 12/4/2009, 1:34 PM
@Torian I like O Donnell but did not like him as Robin. If ever they have Robin in a film again he should be played by a 15 year old.
Dmon - 12/4/2009, 1:35 PM
I think Torian may be taking thew piss..you are taking the piss Torian..right??

I think if you went to see this movie in the theater, you're eligible for federal funding. I'm sure the DVD is subsidized somehow as well.
BigHeadSarge - 12/4/2009, 2:44 PM
Clooney was not the worst thing about Batman and Robin

he was probably one of the better aspect in that horrific film
SoulAllFlush - 12/4/2009, 2:45 PM
It's like a traffic accident everytime it's on TV, I somehow get stuck on the channel and can't stop watching the horific piece of garbage. How about this...

Minus - Batgirl, Gobenator, Bane...(for starters...I know this list could go on "Batman" Forever...)

Add - Pat Stewart as Freeze (We all know he should have been cast, he's the perfect freeze..)...A script...respect for the franchise (even a little bit)...a director that actually knew who Batman was and didn't think that he was a man that is also a bat...a cast that had some self respect and an explanation of how a magnifying glass on a satellite can thaw a city without scorching it completely and all of a sudden we have something that isn't on the Top 5 List of Garbage Anymore...

All these movies are made to cater to the mainstream...when do the actual fans of CB's actually get any respect...How about instead of thinking that something translates poorly onto the big screen...Try It and see if it actually does...No One Even Tries...they just say it cant be done...
continuezero - 12/4/2009, 2:50 PM
@Rorschach

Burton claimed that The Killing Joke was a major influence on his film adaptation of Batman:

"I was never a giant comic book fan, but I've always loved the image of Batman and The Joker. The reason I've never been a comic book fan—and I think it started when I was a child—is because I could never tell which box I was supposed to read. I don't know if it was dyslexia or whatever, but that's why I loved The Killing Joke, because for the first time I could tell which one to read. It's my favorite. It's the first comic I've ever loved. And the success of those graphic novels made our ideas more acceptable."

From that: His version of The Joker is very similar to that of The Killing Joke (the way he got his face and green hair, he was also set up by his boss). The look and feel is very much like The Killing Joke.

I would have preferred it if they had The Joker as a failing comedian to start (exactly how it is in Killing Joke) but they didn't go that route. I think the involvement of Sam Hamm writing the screenplay was a major influence in the big changes.

Bob Kane was creative consultant on the film, so they can't have been too off with comic source.

Nolan's Batman (in my opinion) is very similar to Brian Azzarello's Joker but I don't have any definitive proof of that.

@Dmon.. I understand you think that Nicholson's Joker is a bit over the top but I'm sure you must have read many comics where he is a bit like that anyways.

@Shaman.. I don't like Batman as a billionaire playboy although there are a few comics which portray him like this. I just think that Bale as the Bruce Wayne bit was a better fit than Keaton. He does tend to pull a lot of hot women in comics and it just doesn't seem to fit with Keaton.

Vicki Vale? Selina Kyle? Kathy Kane? Talia Al'Ghul? Too name a few

Hope I've covered all my bases haha!

Never really had a lot of people comment on my thoughts before!!
Imran - 12/4/2009, 2:57 PM
It's a real shame.

Everything about George Clooney just screams "I AM FILTHY RICH AND SWIMMING IN HOT WOMEN, but I am also very mature, smart, and tactical!"

I think had the writing been better, he could've been the single best Batman ever.
MovieTheaterLad - 12/4/2009, 3:09 PM
@ MovietheaterLad i would say he sure screams alot hence "Smug Alert" and that he is some of the things you said are true but you forgot to say Jack @$$ which Batman is not.
Dmon - 12/4/2009, 3:18 PM
Well, Imran, I have to say, Burton is talking out of his ass! He is clearly just trying to tie his movies into one of the more popular Batman comics. His movies have nothing to do with The Killing Joke! Ok..Joker was set up by his boss..and he fell into chemicals to get his look..thats it. I wouldn't agree that they had a similar look or feel either, Burton's movies were Goth to the bone, Joke wasn't. The plot followed the Joker trying to drive Gordon insane by crippling and raping his daughter..to prove to Batman that we can all be driven nuts..it just takes one bad to drive us over the edge. Batman comes to understand this at the end and offers to help The Joker rehabilitate himself. If anything, this plot in more reminiscent of TDK..only Joker focuses this mission on Harvey Dent instead. So, again, I have to assume that Tim Burton is an ass.
RorMachine - 12/4/2009, 3:37 PM
If "codpiece" means what I think it means, then yeah, he deserved an award for that. lol. Did this film get any razzies or was it too bad for even them?
JJMeylar - 12/4/2009, 3:38 PM
@Rorschach.. I get what you're saying and I actually agree but I hope you understand my line of thought when I said The Killing Joke inspired Burton. A bit of comicbook movie trivia there. :-P.

I can see his vision (as warped as it is) fall in line with that comic rather than any other.

He adds his gothic thing to everything so just talking about the way the film looks/feels:

Tim Burton's interpretation of The Killing Joke + Tim Burton's Fantasmical Goth = Batman (1989) haha
Imran - 12/4/2009, 4:01 PM
1st movie i ever walked out of. But i love whatser name that played batgirl... yummy. And Clooney is hilarious!
shibazz - 12/4/2009, 4:23 PM
Its getting to the point where Clooney can play Alfred now. Up In the Air looks like a cute flick, I mean if you like that kinda stuff.
JesuCrisco - 12/4/2009, 4:42 PM
Batman And Robin was the 2nd worse CBM,Catwoman was the worst. At least B/R had the 1950's(Worst Decade for Comics)to back-up Material.Catwoman didn't have even the whole company DC Comics to back it up.
NightAvenger - 12/4/2009, 5:39 PM

RorMachine - 12/4/2009, 5:58 PM
Wow, Clooney is a horrible actor. Even in from Dusk Til Dawn he was trying to pull off the "hey I'm G.C., Who cares about the vampires Harvey Keitel, have you seen my smile??" This pile of crap was def his crowning achievement. Or Facts of Life. Take your pick.
antz1104 - 12/4/2009, 6:28 PM
@Imran, now...Azzarello's Joker was the one from the "Joker" graphic novel, right? (I just got through driving for several hours, I'm a little...worn out) If so, Nolan's/Ledger's Joker only looks like Azzarello's. The Ledger Joker was more interested in chaos and anarchy, while Azzarello's Joker spent the whole story trying to work his way back to the top of the criminal underworld (signifying the ultimate "order" in terms of a villain's world--and since he was after this position, that makes him the exact oposite of Ledger's Joker.)

And since we're talking about worst comic book movies, I guess I should mention Nick Fury:Agent of SHIELD.
contrast - 12/4/2009, 6:41 PM
Batman and Robin makes Hulk look like Dark Knight
JHowlett - 12/4/2009, 11:18 PM
I look at Batman and Robin as the modern day version of Adam West style movie. It was that korny type that u wanna stop watching but cant turn your head away b/c its a superhero movie and nothing else could keep you entertained really.
LaffaTaffa - 12/5/2009, 1:16 AM
Is it just me or is Robin wearing the Ozymandias costume from Watchmen?
Duckfish - 12/5/2009, 2:09 AM
@contrast.. Yeah I was just talking about visual representation. The look and feel is what I'm getting at.

The story is always going to be different in a movie unless it's a film like Watchmen where there is one definitive graphic novel to pull your source material from.

Batman, on the other hand, has so many different representations in comicbooks, so it's very hard to pick one story and say "Yes. I'm copying that!"

2. CATWOMAN
3. HOWARD THE DUCK
4. SUPERMAN (THE ONE WITH RICHARD PRIOR)
5.STEEL
cincyboy - 12/5/2009, 12:50 PM
@Cincyboy

I wouldn't really rate Elctra as worst CBM, but I would put it up there in the "Most Dull" "Most Unnecessary" or "Most Mediocre" CBM rankings.
MovieTheaterLad - 12/5/2009, 1:39 PM
^ I dislike Batman and robin very much...along sides with Hulk, and the movies listed above. lol Uma Thurman ass looked nice in that movie. (only positive thing I can say about it)

AND: George clooney himself said he ruined Batman. Now hes saying he deserves an OSCAR?! Thats a double standard! George clooney should of never been Batman IMO....way I see it, Two-face would of beat him senseless in the DCU as he did DICK for smiling in the Bat suit. Clooneys Kind of goofy looking in that suit lol

Batman NEVER SMILES. Not unless youre a psychotic Batman like the Frank miller Batman which would be Christian Bale. PErfect Frank miller Batman...IMO lol

Yes this movie was the worst superhero movie of all time next to "Steel", "Catwoman", Superman 3,and 4, and Spider-Man 3. I do however wanna see George Clooney have another shot as Batman, because I believe he was a perfect cast to play the character. George lives a life style like Bruce Wayne in real life, give him a better Batman story more based from the modern comic book Batman and I'm sure people will have a diffrent opinion about Clooney as Batman. Batman and Robin failure is blamed on Joel Shoemaker, the writers, and WB studios, only I don't blame the actors and actresses.

@TDKR11

Okay, true that all the campy'ness an bad stuff could be thrown at the director n story writers.

But I just "really" cannot buy George Clooney as Batman, he just hasnt got the look, voice, or anythin id associate with Bruce wayne or Batman.

Ideally, an if that power was in ''MY hands'' Id like to cast: Bob Hoskins as BATMAN. He would have rocked everyones world', even in that movie:-)
Id also like to have cast Woody Allen as Mr FREEZE, David Suchet as BANE, Steven Seagal as ALFRED, and Al Pacino playing multiple roles as every other bit part character featured in the movie.

Do all that and one word ... = Awesomeness :-D

Chistian Bale the best BATMAN.
WORSE CBM FILMS:

1) SUPERMAN 3.
2) ELECTRA.
3) CATWOMAN.
4) BATMAN AND ROBIN.
5) SUPERMAN 4.
6) SUPERMAN RETURNS.
7) RED SONJA.
8) CONAN THE DESTROYER.
9) BLADE TRNITY.
10) GHOST RIDER.

@Elle1980

Have you ever seen the Nostalgia Critic's take on the first Pokemon movie, its hilarious! At one point, he is ranting about how much the movie wont shut up about promoting its message of violence is wrong and then he says that they should come up with a better moral and then Batman arrives and says his line from Batman Begins, "Its not who I am underneath, its what I do that defines me". Its hilarious, heres the video:

Hey is that you in your avatar?
dancingmonkey08 - 12/6/2009, 3:09 PM
Wow, these videos of this guy are so hard to watch...he is literally the biggest loser out there...there is nothing funny about him aside from the fact that he's such a loser...everyone knows why this movie was bad and this guy isn't even able to make fun of it...bad jokes, even worse delivery...
continuezero - 12/6/2009, 3:19 PM
@continuezero

Yea its obvious dude, you dont have a good sense of humour at all. The Nostalgia Critic is hilarious! What videos do you consider funny then?
dancingmonkey08 - 12/6/2009, 3:23 PM
I mean I guess it's Funny Tragic, that he is an adult doing Pokemon Review's from his mother's basement....Which means he's an adult watching Pokemon in his mother's basement...He is Funny like that I guess...

That video was pretty funny!

Oh and if you dont mind me saying, you are hot. Well I THINK you are, because I cant nearly see your avatar. Damn website having too small pics! lol

Oh and if you are a fan of the Nostalgia Critic, you might like LittleKuriboh who makes the Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged Series, a series that makes fun of Yu-Gi-Oh. And you dont have to know anything about Yu-Gi-Oh to laugh at it. Heres the link to his channel:

And of course, the awesome ItsJustSomeRandomGuy's video's are awesome:

It wasn't that bad. Arnold was the thing that ruined it, not George. At least the movie was entertaining; that's what I look for in a superhero movie.

@ dancingmonkey08

I had a photoshoot little while ago (got over 30 pics from it!) So i just cut me out of one of the pics an coppied it onto the page with Blackheart :-)

I'll check it out, I liked the Beserk abridged series.

@NASTYBOy,
I agree with havin movies entertaining, but im sorry' George was just wrong in Batman.
He was cool in Dusk till Dawn though.
