I just read this article. Good to see they are acknowledging something! Never thought about Mike Vogel. The others just don't do it for me. Hedlund, maybe. Not liking the Krasinski idea at all.

Krasinski?! He's great on the Office (and he should be Blue Beetle) but Cap? No f*cking way.

Porter? Eh, maybe he could be good. But he looks and sounds a little too boyish.

Vogel? He looks decent for the role, but I've only seen him in Cloverfield, and he didn't show anything special in that movie.

And I don't know who Michael Cassidy is.

Thumbs down to this list. But I would accept Hedlund in the role (though I feel he's more suited to Winter Soldier and Bucky Cap)

i dunno, this list is OK, but with all the rumors, i wont be convinced of who is actually cast until i see the first trailer, but this is coming from the guy who didn't believe mickey rourke was in iron man 2 up until about 2 months ago

LEEE777: Dude get over it. Armie isn't on the wish list. So there is little to no chance he'll get the part. You seem like the type of fan who will cause a fit when the actor you want isn't cast.

The most important thing for Cap' is acting ability. Muscles can be bulked.. even the most cock-eyed of lookers can be sold as Cap' if they can act. Hold your tongues y'all.

Remember the shit show that came about when Ledger was picked as The Joker? No one ever suspected he could transform the way he did. Give it a chance to see what surfaces..

I think Krasinki is a good actor and maybe with a big bulk could play him just on his 40's look. That being said I hope some DC guys see this and decide to cast him as the flash ... just to get the ball rolling on that film!

Scott Porter is my choice for the look of Captian America.

We do know that they are going with an "unknown", so this shouldn't shock anyone as to the credentials of those listed. Vogel at 5'10 doesn't cut it for me, when they can cast someone that is closer to the physical build. I know...I know..they can work with the height thing.

wingpow@ Don't we want someone who does look somewhat like Cap? Acting is very important, but the look should be as well. Krasinski is way out in left field. His schnauzer should disqualify him immediately. Sorry...I call it like I see it I was one who was ecstatic that Ledger got the role of Joker and never doubted his ability to carry it out. I guess I was more familiar with his acting ability than others and with the part of the Joker, the makeup takes the "look" part out of it for the most part.

Actually, Porter was pretty decent in Speed Racer so he's the only one out of this list that makes an ounce of sense. But NO ONE on this list or on the previous one, beats Jensen Ackles!!! Click on the pic to find out why ;)
