Casting Aaron Paul was their only shot at making this a legitimate movie, and not a repeat of the last Die Hard.

I hope he dies hard in this.

Die Hard 4 was good but really it shouldve been the last one. This is just one too many.
The 80's Action guys dont have anything left to offer as action stars. Theyre the only genre group that didnt move on.
Connery, Eastwood did it right. When they got to be too old to play stuff like they did in their 30s they stopped and moved on.

Theyre trying to do the same stuff with the same one liners and not only is it odd but just who is their target demo?

Most likely "Die Hard 5" will Tank Hard and Die Easy like Expendables 2 did.

I like some of the 80's action guys but these guys are embarrassing themselves.

More like Die Easy. McClain is too arrogant, now. What made him interesting was the whole average guy in a fracked up situation, does desperate things to survive and save the day. Now, he's no different from the Last Action Hero.

I can't wait to see this haha. Not expecting a good movie just a fun and ridiculous action movie. That's why i loved the expendables movies

Seriously? His son is a CIA agent? Yeesh.

I had a pitch for a Die Hard movie that would take it back to its roots. Basically McClane is retired from the NYPD and we find him interviewing for a Head Of Security job at some R&D facility. It just so happens that on that very day, a terrorist group attempts to break into the facility to steal a chemical weapon or something. The whole facility is locked down and John is stuck inside with no choice but to take on the terrorists.

Simple, confined to one area, Die Hard.

That's a pretty good premise, Vadakin; get it out there, son!
I'd go and see it. :)

Oh and rated R because John McClane likes to say certain words that the MPAA doesn't like.

Meh.
