PICS: A Collection of Watchmen Images

A sweet collection of posters and stillshots from the big screen adaptation of Watchmen.
I tried to put the stillshots from the movie in order in which it's played out in the novel, if you don't have it yet I suggest you go buy it,read it & act like you bought it in 1993....the rest of the stuff is promo stuff I guess.

I think that there is little possibility that this movie will be.....hmmm.....bad??? Yea. Bad. It will be a good movie, but I can tell simply by looking at this chump playing Ozy.....that he is gonna be a big sore thumb on the entire film. Not enough to where I'm not gonna be salivating...but I'll bet I walk out of the theater going...."god that guy suuuuuuucccccckkkkkkeeeeeedddddd"

Jackie Earle Haley looks awesome as Kovacs. Ozy not so much but im still EXCITED!!!

Yeah, I agree with JohnClayBurchett, that guy doesn't look like Ozymandias..he looks like he could be Ozymandias' bitch, but not Ozymandias himself.

jackie earle hayley does not look good as kovacs, he looks like he's pushing 70 in all the shots ive seen of him.

The Ozy guy, too skinny and kinda sissy looking, Nite Owl indeed looks cool.... This movie will rock, can't wait!

Lots of good stuff in there Rorschach lunch counter, Comedian about to attempt rape scene, Hollis mason, Dan dreiberg ect all look great. I'll agree again about Ozy, he may pull off the dialogue well and everything but he definitely should have been more physique, someone like the guy who played Eomer in lotr would have worked well.

How could they do a really great job in getting the perfect actor for Rorschach and the Comedian then turn around and get what looks like a young pretty boy to play Ozy? Doesn't look old enough and seems way to small. He just looks like, as someone said before, a little bitch. I really hope he can act, cause that actor alone may just keep this film from reaching Batman Begins/Dark Knight status. And that's what I want to see. A film called Watchmen deserves nothing less.

Mathew Goode can certainly act, but was he the right actor for the role? Doesnt look the part in any way..you would think Snyder would have told him to beef up..even a bit for the role! He looks like a 15 year old boy swimming in that purple jacket! Ill turn a blind eye to that if hes convincing as Ozy but the review that was leaked says hes not..all in all it looks like brain fart casting on the part of mr Snyder

Goode only looks okay when he's wearing Ozzy's costume. i think it's the molded muscles, they make him look a little bigger. he looks scrawny in civilian clothes.

On another side of Ozy's actor some of the audio clips I've heard from him seem very good, perhaps Snyder just didn't trust a mainstream audience to get his character if he wasn't the normal build they're used to(genius = scrawny in a lot of filmgoers minds). I think that's somewhat contrary to that facet of watchmen which was supposed to somewhat say screw conventions, but I'll forgive it if Goode does a "goode" job with what he's endeared with.

For the people bitchin' about their size's & look's, relax they all look perfect they needed a balance in size, like Ozy couldn't be the big guy, I mean The Comedian is the butch of the group, Dr.Manhattan has to look like a God, Rorschach should be a little shit!,Silk = Sexy & Nite Owl/Dan needs to look like a guy past his prime....I just don't think it really matterd if Ozy was a "huge" guy, so he's still a tall regal playboy...plus when he's in his outfit he does look big IMO & just look at the groupshot of them, he looks just as big as say Nite Owl....I don't want to defend Ozymandias or Mathew Goode but imo, I think we are all supposed to hate Ozy (even though I like him,I mean he's flippin' insane in the novel...but I love all the characters,lol)

I dissagree Crush... Ozymandias is supposed to be a human being at the PEAK of physicallity, and I agree with most of the other posts. The costume helps (a little), but someone with, for example Billy Crudup's physique, would have been more appropriate.
I hate to sound trite, but he just looks like a pompous, arrogant punk.
(Someone my six year old could take out.)

These pictures are great! I don't agree with other posts about Mathew good. I think he looks close to the part. I mean Rorschach does think he may be gay. Crush, what do you mean Rorschach should be a little shit? He's a great character. Boeklaar, Your stupid for saying Jackie doesn't look good as Rorshach, he's the perfect pick for the part. Killian, if you read the book at all, you would know that Adrian is constantly wearing purple, so it's not flamming. And finaly John Clay, your an idiot for saying this movie will suck.
