Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014

I've already seen it!
NovaCorpsFan - 7/31/2014, 10:04 AM
I think Ronan was pretty badass in the movie, I can see where the underdeveloped comment comes from but only a moron would say his motives weren't clear.
blkchi - 7/31/2014, 10:07 AM
Hey why show off u guys know most haven't seen it keep it to yourself let's discuss after the weekend
Berserker187 - 7/31/2014, 10:15 AM

@Berserker I'm with you I gotta wait to this weekend to see it.
LensmanMatt92 - 7/31/2014, 10:37 AM
Ronan in this movie never managed to be more than just a two-dimensional fanatic and he gets obliterated near the end of the movie. What makes it annoying is that he had a great character development in the comics since Annihilation.
LensmanMatt92 - 7/31/2014, 10:40 AM
Loved this scene.
TopCat89 - 7/31/2014, 10:41 AM
Btw, new clip from 'Batman: Assault on Arkham' has been released....i would make an article but i'm clueless on how to post videos after settings have changed....

Alexjames13 - 7/31/2014, 10:46 AM
guardians of the galaxy was a beautiful movie. it had a lot heart. never before in a marvel movie do you feel soo connected to the characters. i even came close to tearing up towards the end. thanos was a beast. ronan was very one dimensional, i agree. whats awesome about GOTG is the guardians themselves. i could watch a whole movie of them sitting in a room and watching them banter. it would be amazing. a lot of other cbms, need an awesome villian to define the hero. here imo is no the case. this may not be the movie of the year, but it sure was fun as hell!!
batz11 - 7/31/2014, 10:48 AM
Can people resist posting spoilers for couple more days at least? (Not taking about you Nova)
sKeemAn - 7/31/2014, 10:49 AM
I gotta stay away from these articles tiI see the movie. I know some idgit is going to start spoiling shit.
batz11 - 7/31/2014, 10:51 AM
@Lens already did one, though you do see it in the trailers, but still, yeah, may have to bolt for the day, can only blame myself... and the spoiler guy ;)
LensmanMatt92 - 7/31/2014, 11:01 AM
Sorry for the spoiler but i had to adress the main flaw of the movie.
PsychoticSpaceRaccoon - 7/31/2014, 11:21 AM
Without spoiling anything (I'm seeing it tonight), I have to guess that the character some of you are saying bites it may well come back somehow since the actor who plays said character signed a multi-film contract. Now I know that's standard Marvel procedure - the kid from IM3 signed a multi-film contract too - but this particular character has a lot more to potentially offer the MCU.

So I'm hopeful.
GiantNerd - 7/31/2014, 11:21 AM
@TopCat89

The fighting looks awesome in that. I'll be there.
PymParticle - 7/31/2014, 11:21 AM
WOW!!!!! LOL

I shouted in excitement when Rocket went for the other ship! The designs look AMAZING
batz11 - 7/31/2014, 11:23 AM
No worries Len, like I said, it was already shown in the trailer, not a big deal (wasn't even "really" talking about you lol)
DarthMauve - 7/31/2014, 11:37 AM
Just saw guardians a few hours ago. All i have to say is anyone who doesnt enjoy this film is clearly dead inside. It was fantastic fun and quite an accomlishment for James Gunn and the cast and crew.
jazzman - 7/31/2014, 12:16 PM
@EzioKenway1225

Ronan motivation was very weak in the movie. Marvel needs to make their villains feel like villains.
gregmeister - 7/31/2014, 1:27 PM
Like I needed to be sold on this,1030 AM will not come fast enough.
AlexanderLykins - 7/31/2014, 3:28 PM
That is awesome.
marvel72 - 7/31/2014, 4:42 PM
very good movie with the best soundtrack quite possibly ever assembled for a comic book movie.
Enki - 7/31/2014, 7:19 PM
Just got back from watching GOTG. It truly exceeded my expectations, and it leaves you wanting more.
Enki - 7/31/2014, 7:21 PM
Oh, and Groot RULES!!!!!
cimmerian - 7/31/2014, 8:35 PM
Watched this last night July 31st! It's Awesome! Every single member of the Guardians were given fair share of screen time to shine. James Gunn should have been taken as the director of X-Men!
