New (Low-Quality) Captain America Footage & Images Offer First Look At USO Suit!

Though in low-quality, a fair amount of new footage from Captain America: The First Avenger has been revealed, as well the first images of the USO suit. Check it out!

Tipped from our greatest ally RimBreaks, a low-quality video featuring a fair amount of new footage from Marvel and Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger film has been revealed, as well new low-res images. While the images offer the first look at Cap in his USO suit, as well a new look at Bucky, Peggy, Red Skull, Union Jack, and Howard Stark, check it all out below.





Captain America: The First Avenger focuses on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes and Peggy Carter to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull. Starring Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Tommy Lee Jones, Hayley Atwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Stanley Tucci and Hugo Weaving, the film releases July 22, 2011.

They cut the "I don't know if I can do this" to "I can do this." Lol. The new action was pretty cool, now I'm going to put a moratorium on trailer viewing until I can see the movie.

I love how they intentionally made the USO suit look bad.

The new footage kicks ass! Definitely going to be the best CBM this summer.

NOW THIS IS FROM A GUY WHO IS A COMIC BOOK FAN, WHO DID MARVEL STUFF IN THE BOOKS, WHO DID DO MANY SHOWS( SOME WITH CULT FOLLOWING) THIS IS THE WAY IT BEST TRANSLATES TO REALITY..I THINK HE PULLED IT OFF WELL..

the reason why i enjoyed x-men: first class so much was because i would sometimes forget i was actually watching a superhero movie.

hopefully the first avenger takes me on an even better journey!

GUNSMITH is right!! Just like the comics isn't always good. Yeah, it works a bit for spidy, but what if Wolverine or the original Robin outfit was just like the comics. They whould look like fags!!!! Not gay, that's a man with his own thang going on. Fags are lost. You know what a fag is right?
Anyway so you do have to make changes, but run on the line of the fans love of the guy.

The USO costume is cool. great way to put the original suite in the movie. But its a good example of why they have to change stuff a little for movies. If he did the whole movie in that, I wouldn't be able to take it serious.

Wow... love that footage. I'll watch the trailer coming later this week, then I think I'll try to avoid anything else on this film until I get to see it in a theater. Love what I see so far!

this is the US Army circ 1940s....that USO costume (for a [frick]ing show mind you) is as good as it would look at this time. so i think its perfect for what they would be trying to do

I thought it would be more like the suit from "the fighting avenger" rather than the comics
