Filming for a little over 4 months now, according to the New York City shoot's schedule, Marvel Studios' The Avengers will be wrapping principal photography tomorrow; but that's not all the schedule reveals. Via PattiePadFoot, the sheet also depicts snippets of action scene details, plus a hint at Stan Lee's cameo and potentially the film's alien invaders. While I've provided a transcription below, you can click the images (right) to enlarge. And though it's in filming terms, you should pick up on the goods.

Regarding the aliens, I researched Marvel's vault for anything relating to a "leviathan," and came across a few different things; things you can speculate on from here. And regarding Stan "the man" Lee's cameo, on the schedule hes listed as "Older Guy." Not too revealing, I know, but we do have a nice pic from today's shoot depicting "the man" filming a scene with Chris Evans' Steve Rogers; potentially near the "Cafe" referred to in the schedule. And for even more images, make the jump Here!

Marvel's The Avengers picks up when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security. And Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. With director Joss Whedon at it's helm, and an ensemble cast including Chris Evans (Steve Rogers), Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Chris Hemsworth (Thor Odinson), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff), Clark Gregg (Agt. Phil Coulson), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), with Tom Hiddleston (Loki Laufeyson), and Stellan Skarsgard (Professor Erik Selvig), the film releases worldwide May 4, 2012!

stan lee needs to be a skrull
DCMarvelFreshman - 9/3/2011, 6:14 PM
It seems Stan Lee will be sitting at a table with other "older men." Because Cap is a little over 70 years old, I imagine that'll come into play for Stan's cameo.

DCMarvelFreshman - 9/3/2011, 6:23 PM
Yep, but I remember Nick Fury telling Cap hes been sleep for "almost" 70 years. Though that isn't too different. So I could see him being at least 90 actually lol
NateHawk89 - 9/3/2011, 6:24 PM
curious as to what the leviathan is
OptimusPrimeTime - 9/3/2011, 6:24 PM
Stan Lee for THANOS!
LucasMend - 9/3/2011, 6:26 PM

I can't take it anymore!

I need a trailer!
AlibiBreakfast - 9/3/2011, 6:29 PM
It sounds like leviathan is the name of the alien's ship. Or maybe it's Fin Fang Foom and they're just calling him the leviathan?
Niuhll - 9/3/2011, 6:32 PM
http://marvel.wikia.com/Leviathan One enemy of Thor, one enemy of S.H.I.E.L.D...hmmm. Or purhaps a ruse? Unlikely to call the enemy by its real name on a piece of paper that can be lost or stolen so easily.
Dynamo - 9/3/2011, 6:34 PM
I hope it's some kind of giant monster. Superhero movies need more giant things...
BooYah - 9/3/2011, 6:35 PM
@Lucaxmen- I was wondering the same thing. I mean I've seen rumors on here posted from that Facebook page. I don't see why yours got deleted. Was it already posted?

I was at the set all day from this morning and it was pretty cool!

Met the amazing Joss Whedon (on his way to a trailer), who very nicely shook my hand as I told him I loved his work & want to star in a project of his some day. Although helming such a huge project, the man is a perfect gentleman with his fans! Bravo & Kudos to Joss Whedon!

Stan Lee zoomed by quick as can be (with who must've been his security team I think), and headed straight for the cafe to shoot the scene with Chris Evans. Tom (Loki) Hiddleston stoppped by the set and checked in with the cast & crew late in the afternoon for a visit.

The downed Quinjet scene with the blown up taxi cabs and cars shot in the morning and the explosions which rocked the Pershing cafe later in the day were totally amazing! This is going to be one of the most exciting movies ever made!

Security was very tight but not overbearing, all in all making for a very good time! Gonna go check it out some more tomorrow for a little while to see what's up!
Godzillafart - 9/3/2011, 6:37 PM
How did we get this far and nobody say "Captain Americas helmet looks goofy!"?
DCMarvelFreshman - 9/3/2011, 6:37 PM
@Lucaxmen Thanks, regarding that delete, I believe it was posted here

@AlibiBreakfast I'm thinking that as well. My earlier source basically said it was the Inhumans, but I should have just treated it as just a name...instead of thinking it was the actual group. So I suppose I'm back on the guessing game. But I know it's not Skrulls lol

But regarding this "Levianon," I wonder if it has anything to do with these guys. The Levianon was the starship home of their Levian race apparently.
LucasMend - 9/3/2011, 6:37 PM
@BooYa Nope dude.
LucasMend - 9/3/2011, 6:39 PM
@DCMF hm weird man, I don´t see it there.
ChanchoMcGrady - 9/3/2011, 6:41 PM
notice how Leviathan is underlined, like the name of a ship would be. i think the alien ship theory is the most likely. or possibly its just a code word to throw anyone off who doesn't know, so as to not reveal what it is (like perhaps an additional villain). we'll see.
headlopper - 9/3/2011, 6:42 PM
Kinda worthless information if you don't live in N.Y.
BooYah - 9/3/2011, 6:43 PM
@DCMF- LMAO a hotties poll? That's not what his article was about.
AlexLaChiusa - 9/3/2011, 6:45 PM
Hmm what do the numbers in the scene column mean?
MAKELESTRON - 9/3/2011, 6:45 PM
GREETINGS EARTHLINGS!
Bryanferryfan - 9/3/2011, 6:45 PM
I haven't commented in awhile. So, let me begin by sayin....."YOU BYTCHES ARE BASTARDS"!
meatbag - 9/3/2011, 6:45 PM
@Godzillafart... sorry I', late...Captain America's helmet looks goofy.
Just kidding. Seriously, though, it does.
headlopper - 9/3/2011, 6:46 PM
@al- You're lucky dude. Hey, are you trying to make the rest of jealous?
DCMarvelFreshman - 9/3/2011, 6:48 PM
@Lucaxmen Would you mind saying what the article was about? I'll see if I can figure out what happened.

@BooYah Theres news-related stuff in there too lol:)

@ChanchoMcGrady Sorry for the mislead, I actually underlined it. As pictured right, the word isn't underlined.
LucasMend - 9/3/2011, 6:50 PM
@DCMF it was a rumor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe facebook page saying that Autumn Reeser has had talks with Marvel about playing Wasp
VicSage - 9/3/2011, 6:52 PM
DCMarvelFreshman, thanks for this great news. Using this information and some previous speculation, I've been able to write up a quick editorial of the possible villain. Everyone should check IT OUT!

BooYah - 9/3/2011, 6:54 PM
@DCMF- lol I don't care if those hotties articles had news in them or not. I love em :P
imnotahero - 9/3/2011, 6:54 PM
Fun fact: Leviathan was the codename that the x-men make up to convince the aliens that they have a secret weapon. (during Joss Whedon's run on astonishing.)

warlock - 9/3/2011, 6:56 PM
@ Godzillafart. The only reason cap, looks goofy , is b cuz hes on set still .and we all know that, bane, looks goofy bats, looks goofy and cat looks goofy also we all no those are filming shots and it will look different in the live action movie trust me.
EdParker - 9/3/2011, 6:57 PM
NY baby!!!
DCMarvelFreshman - 9/3/2011, 6:57 PM
@Lucaxmen Weird, I know we editors have decided to stop promoting that FB page because we dug up proof that they were lying about their so-called scoops. But I don't know if that had anything to do with why it was deleted.

@VicSage No problem, I actually just finished reading it. Theres supposed to be mixed races, so I suppose it's possible...maybe. Maybe even lead to Mandarin finally being IM3 lol
Niuhll - 9/3/2011, 6:58 PM
Levithian is not a ship "The levitihian head comes to a rest on the street"
LucasMend - 9/3/2011, 7:00 PM
@DCMF oh ok, Thanks anyway man :)
Niuhll - 9/3/2011, 7:01 PM
But i do agree with Vicsage. I think it could be, but it still leaves the question who is the mo cap guys playing and it mentions alien gun fire.
headlopper - 9/3/2011, 7:05 PM
It costs $300 for a filming permit in N.Y.C.
That'll come out of Mickey's allowance.
DCMarvelFreshman - 9/3/2011, 7:09 PM
@Niuhll Think of there being multiple alien races. You could also use the Frost Giants from Thor as a reference(not that I'm saying they'll be in the movie lol) but they had Man-like giants, as well the huge beast.
Niuhll - 9/3/2011, 7:57 PM
@dcmf This set gets more confusing by the day aha. Wonder how they are going to play this all out. Interesting though, more so that we still have no idea who any of them are except Loki. Guess in few months when most of the post is done we will get a reveal.
Jakeroo - 9/3/2011, 7:58 PM
