Thats a lot of good characters coming back to Marvel. Would be interesting to see Bullseye v Hawkeye on screen.

In a way I'm glad, because I know Marvel Studio's will make a much better DD movie than Fox but the chances of Marvel ACTUALLY making one in the near future is so slim. Either way it kind of sucks, Daredevil is my absolute FAVOURITE Marvel character.

Man, hope DD comes back to Marvel. The more the merrier, man. But I agree with @DAFIRG here. If Marvel gets back the rights to DD (and I do hope that they do), they'll probably put him on shelf for a while. I mean, look at what Marvel has planned for the few years. Captain America 2, Ant-Man, Iron-Man 3, Thor 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, and The Avengers 2; yeah, it'll definitely be a while till we get a proper Daredevil film. Sad, but hey, if Marvel gets it back, at least we know it's in good hands, y'know? :)

LoL, "dreadful"? Sounds more like good news for Marvel, seeing as how they'll soon get back the rights in October. Dreadful news for Fox, yes. But good news for Marvel and us CBMers/fans. :)

Marvel's been talking about making smaller, lower-budget flicks in addition to their blockbusters. I think Daredevil would be perfect for that. You don't really need a bunch of giant, CGI-saturated, crazy expensive set pieces for a Daredevil movie. A gritty, street-level, martial arts thriller starring Daredevil? Yep, here's my money. Take it Marvel, it's yours.

This is bad. If Daredevil goes back to Marvel, not only will we more than likely not see a Daredevil movie any time soon, but he doesn't fit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at all (as a matter of fact, that's why we probably won't see him in a while). Daredevil is dark. The MCU is more comedy and about space, gamma, cosmic energies, ETC. Howard The Duck fits in the MCU more than Daredevil.

I love DD for sure , but Fox is really screwing the pooch here. Just give up the surfer so we can get crackin on this Thanos and The Infinity Gaulet business! But if/when Marvel gets DD back I want some good shit this time... And that means no playground Fights! AND at the beginning of the film I want the "Marvel Knights" logo like we got for Warzone. That way we know that it's the real deal.of they go Frank Miller with a Marvel Knights logo. The movie could be the balls!
They just need a good writer, good stunts/ sets, and good direction, and DD could be a good flick.

I would actually prefer Daredevil stay with Fox if its placed in good hands. Carnahan seemed fine, but Drew Goddard would be fantastic.

And for the love of god, please Marvel, DON'T put Daredevil in an Avengers movie.

As Marvel starts making more CBMs that are not really Avengers in the comics, I think they should either very simply mention that its a shared universe BUT NOTHING more or just make a separate line of superhero movies not in the same universe.

I, personally, already felt problems in Avengers because of overcrowding. I can't see Daredevil fitting

I wanna see Marvel do some smaller hardcore flicks focusing on some of the darker grittier characters like Daredevil, Punisher, and Blade. Have them in their own little corner of the MCU where they show up in each others movies or something. That would be so badass

I'd like to see Daredevil in the MCU. If the rights revert back to Marvel, awesome. If Fox makes a Daredevil film, and it is good, that is cool too, buut I would hope that they would make it so they could potentially fit the character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the future. Too bad the X-Men films wouldn't work, but I am still holding out hope for Spider-man, Fantastic Four, and Daredevil to be in the MCU.

Also, I enjoyed the 2003 film and thought Ben Affleck was great as Daredevil (kill me), and I think he would be an awesome choice for the reboot. I would not want it to be related in any way to the 2003 film or that piece of shit Elektra (even though Garner was decent in DD) though.

In a perfect world (or atleast better world), we could see a MCU New York City with Spider-Man, Daredevil, Punisher, etc. crossing paths.

@thewonderer Given his secret identity, would they ever consider putting him on The Avengers, anyway? I agree with you -- either way, I don't think they would put every character they adapt into a team. However, Matt Murdock could play a strong role in the MCU -- lawyer. Attacks on New York would keep his offices busy, lol. With Goddard being pals with Whedon -- he's a likely candidate if the DD rights revert to Disney. Too many reasons to root for 'revert'.

Also, as a side note...im glad marvel held fast. Fox is liable to Frak up FF scheduling too (We the fans should express our distain on them producing that film) and that will return home too. I know there is some buzz with Wolverine, but after Marvel has displayed HOW to build continuity, Fox's seems to be making an effort to make theirs more confusing. I mean The Wolverine is out of sync with rest of timeline (really?), and FC2 is going to be Future Past...They have demonstrated over and over again that they lack the vision and dedication to characters to do this right...

it's better if DD is back at home, even if it takes time for a new movie, BUT what I really REALLY want is FF back at Marvel !!!!!!!!!!!
