I love Loki, but I reeeeeaally don't want a Loki movie. He's a Thor character. He belongs in Thor films.

[frick] yes Black Panther!!!
MrCBM56 - 10/22/2013, 4:52 PM
So in other words, Black Panther for phase 4...or 5...or 6 :(

Yes!! I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the movies that comes out in 2016 or 2017!
ATrueHero1987 - 10/22/2013, 5:10 PM
We know Marvel started on a script for BP in 2011 & they even talked to an actor to play Killmonger.
DrDoom - 10/22/2013, 5:13 PM
Just say it's in Phase Three.

That's all we need.
seyrie - 10/22/2013, 5:20 PM

TheWolverine08 - 10/22/2013, 5:22 PM
YES! It's time to give the Wakandan badass his due! Base it on Christopher Priest's Black Panther run, and make all Black Panther fans proud!
TheWolverine08 - 10/22/2013, 5:24 PM
Hope they don't make Wakanda a stereotypical backwards African country. Africans have had enough of that portrayal in movies.
MightyZeus - 10/22/2013, 5:26 PM
It's in phase 3 which is good.

Glad there bringing a black super hero to the big screen again.
GizmoEl - 10/22/2013, 5:26 PM
Thor 2 trailer is confirmed for tomorrow?
ALmight - 10/22/2013, 5:29 PM
@TheWolverine08, in the comics Wkanda is an advanced civilization, more advanced than the rest of the world in many ways.
ATrueHero1987 - 10/22/2013, 5:30 PM
@NPaMusic There trying to put new characters on the screen but can you blame Marvel for not having immediate plans for DD, The Punisher, and especially GR?
Saintsinnister - 10/22/2013, 5:30 PM
Black Panther is badass, should already have a movie out, but with that being said black people need to get over this race shit. It's all we hear from them. The station is blacktree and of course he has to ask about black panther.
JoJo1982 - 10/22/2013, 5:30 PM

nowtheresaBATman - 10/22/2013, 5:38 PM
@ATrueHero
Good thing you posted that grammar correction because I couldn't figure out what your comment meant haha ;)
Inhuman - 10/22/2013, 5:39 PM
Phase 3...

(2015) Ant-Man
(2016) Captain America 3
(2016) Black Panther
(2017) Doctor Strange
(2017) Thor 3
(2018) Avengers 3

....your welcome
Ocelot - 10/22/2013, 5:39 PM
We'll probably see the Black Panther in phase 3, but I dont see a movie, when Feige isn't pressed about the character and talks about the character like he does with Dr Strange and The Inhumans i'll believe the character is getting solo movie. Black Panther will probably be central to Captain America 3, they'll probably use that film to introduce the character due to their obvious ties.

Wakanda is a problem though, they'll have to be careful, some of it's conventions will definitely have to be changed, aint no [frick]ing way they can present Africans as "Babaric" and as "loincloth spear chuckers" like the comics do, gtfo of here with that outdated shit. They'll have to make them the African North Korea for it work.
AOSgotAlright - 10/22/2013, 5:41 PM
Really excited for this.
ATrueHero1987 - 10/22/2013, 5:46 PM
@nowtheresaBATman my bad.lol

@MP79 Yea, I don't get people that complain that Marvel doesn't puts a movie in production of the rights they got back. It doesn't make sense to make another GR for example, after the reception of the last 2 movies.
Inhuman - 10/22/2013, 5:47 PM
@Loki

No room for Hulk 2. Two movies a year so thats Cap 3 and Thor 3, you already have Ant-Man and Avengers 3, now you have 2 more open slots. Doc Strange is definitely one of them and the other could be Black Panther. Basically it comes down to either Black Panther, Inhumans, or Hulk 2 for that last spot
McNyagano - 10/22/2013, 5:47 PM
@Ocelot

I agree with this. I'm from a country called Zimbabwe in Africa and I can tell you no one there runs around half naked carrying spears and dancing around fires.
TheWolverine08 - 10/22/2013, 5:47 PM
@MP79 @Almight I know how badass Wakanda and Black Panther are in the comics. I'm a huge BP fan :). I'm just saying as a child of African immigrants, I would like to see a presentation of Africa that isn't so stereotypical.
JoeMomma29 - 10/22/2013, 5:52 PM
I hope this really happens.
Inhuman - 10/22/2013, 5:54 PM
Bottom line the street level heroes (Daredevil, Punisher, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Blade, Luke Cage, Iron Fist) wont be soon for a while. Im sure Nova, Inhumans, Ms. Marvel, Guardians sequel perhaps, are all above the street level guys at this time. Marvel wont let us down they have a plan Im sure
