After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014.

And some people are concerned that The Amazing Spider-Man has shown too much footage. Captain America has the whole full elevator scene released back with Thor, 2 trailers, don't know how many tv spots all featuring new footage, this 4 minutes preview and it's about to release a 11 minutes trailer.

Don't get me wrong, I think the marketing for both Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have been nothing short of awesome, I feel both Marvel and Sony are doing a terrific job selling these films to the mainstream audience and I predict it'll pay off big time, especially if all the buzz about the films been amazing (yeah pun--) turns out to be true, but the next time someone points out that Sony has shown too much, I'll point them out to the God knows how many articles there are here all featuring big chunks of the next Cap film.

With that said, I'm not watching this or any other spots for either Cap 2 or Spider-Man 2, the latest trailer for both films already sold me, this year will be MARVELOUS!!!

BTW did anyone else see the distress in TWS's eyes? Looks like Cap might be talking some sense into him during that final fight.
McNyagano - 3/6/2014, 10:06 AM
Do people still doubt me now when I said this is a cross between the first Iron Man and the Avengers?
DrNomid - 3/6/2014, 10:07 AM

ummmmmmmmmmmm
HOLY SHIT !!

For two months I have been thinking my friend was suffering a fan-girl high when she told me it was equal to if not better than Avengers(she went to a test screening focus group thing) UMMM Holy Shit I am thinking she wasn't kidding at all with her assessment. That sequence on the boat and the way Cap is moving around compared to his "jumping" in Avengers..the costume, the tone of the film....3 weeks- OH MY GOD THIS WILL BE THE LONGEST 3 WEEKS EVER

And for those who says or will say that Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 are both showing too much from the film:

Nobody is forcing to watch these trailers and tv spots. The marketing campaign for both films have been nothing short of spectacular so far, and this is been done to promote the film over the Fandango users. We the geeks are the ones that track down every single trailer that there's out there, not the mainstream audience. If we don't watch them, we aren't getting spoiled seeing too much before these films release dates.

It's not Marvel or Sony that can spoil or not their films, it's ourselves.
ShawnMadden - 3/6/2014, 10:09 AM
And that voiceover is definitely Agent Carter.

As critical as I've been of the MCU, The Winter Solider looks like the "Dark Knight" of the MCU.

It just looks spectacular!
Pasto - 3/6/2014, 10:10 AM
I'll reserve judgment until I can SEE THE [frick]ING CLIP ON THIS CRAP ASS COMPUTER!!

Seriously though, i don't need a clip to tell me this is going to be one of the 3 films of 2014. It's honestly up there with Godzilla in terms of how excited I am about it.
BlackFlash - 3/6/2014, 10:14 AM
Black Widow always has the craziest moves what the hell was that that she done to the last guy -_-
McNyagano - 3/6/2014, 10:14 AM
