Damon Lindelof Responds to Tyler Perry’s PROMETHEUS Comment

Screenwriter of this year’s Prometheus, Damon Lindelof, took to twitter his humorous opinion to Tyler Perry’s flawed outlook of the Alien film

Since its release, we’ve learned that a lot of folks were displeased with the Prometheus film; including actor/director Tyler Perry:

TP: “I love Sci Fi, I love the Alien movies and the Alien franchise. I was very disappointed with Prometheus, but I love that whole franchise. Those are my favorite movies.”

Things took a turn when Lindelof tweeted a few hilarious jokes including a pic that completely shatters Perry’s credibility.

So because Tyler Perry was disappointed by Prometheus this guy gets butthurt? Tyler didn't say the movie was bad he just said he was disappointed meaning it wasn't exactly what he expected.

I didn't say it wasn't a joke, and I don't care whether or not it was either. It's annoying and not funny and I hope he's done with it.

As bad as the Tyler Perry's movies are, Lindelof really needs to work on his writing and not worry about twitter reactions.

mr. lindelof was funny, classy, respectful and civil, and entitled to opine as much as mr. perry was entitled to :)

no one really said anything bad. i'm sure tyler perry would've just laughed about it unless he's an ass. which is entirely possible

I don't think Damon was defending Prometheus in this example, just ripping on Tyler perry writing a sci-fi movie. I know he mentioned it and everything...that's just the impression I get.

BTW-Who cares what Tyler Perry thinks. He's a dude that makes his living dressed up like a woman

Tyler Perry is a pretty good friend to have on your side though. He was the highest paid man in 2011. I was also a bit disappointed in Prometheus. I thought it would be a lot more suspense or intense scenes. I still really enjoyed it though.

As much as I don't care for Perry, he's right.
Alot of people were disappointed with Prometheus.
I definitely was, it was an average movie for me.

Space Jesus? BWAHAHAHA! Okay, and that's better than Madea how? He's insecure, clearly, because all Tyler said was that he was disappointed. What's really going to be funny is when Tyler makes that sci-fi film and it becomes more successful than Prometheus.

tyler perry criticizing prometheus? thats frickin rich. this from the dude that has made his fortune by crossdressing and starring in his own films. my gf buys every one of those darn things (usually out of the $4 bin at walmart) and i have no idea why. i'm not even sure if she actually watches them or not, but she owns i think every darn one of em. it is really really disturbing to see this man dressed as a woman. and for those of you that haven't seen him, no he doesn't look remotely like a woman. martin lawrence as bog momma is more believable. so mister tyler perry, i really don't give a rat if you found prometheus disappointing!

lol I went to see madea tonight :p
i was bored...
and I laughed..
there were a lot of "brothas" in that theatre lmao
