One thousand years after cataclysmic events forced humanity's escape from Earth, Nova Prime has become mankind's new home. When an asteroid storm damages Cypher and Kitai's craft, they crash-land on a now unfamiliar and dangerous Earth. As his father lies dying in the cockpit, Kitai must trek across the hostile terrain to recover their rescue beacon. His whole life, Kitai has wanted nothing more than to be a soldier like his father. Looks interesting.
PaulRom - 12/10/2012, 8:09 AM
It surprisingly looks pretty good. Will definitely keep an eye on this one.
ElShumway - 12/10/2012, 8:11 AM
It doesn't look good at all, and it's also a M.Night Shitaman movie. And is Will Smith attempting some sort of an accent? Because he sounds ridiculous!
Jolt17 - 12/10/2012, 8:15 AM
Wow, it looks amazing.
Gus - 12/10/2012, 8:40 AM
Wait, even the trailer has a twist? Jeez!
FrankieDedo - 12/10/2012, 8:46 AM
What i sense? Nice ideas, but with a too much serious smith family, what's with USA??? why are them giggling so much for serious things?
Personally i would seen this with a Jurassic Park take, and not with a I Am Legend take...oh wait it had will smith in it too..are they trying to replicate the (in)success?
I like the idea of the earth evolving in mankilling ways, but i think it will turn just in a poor backstory, than a theme of the movie...
Dynamo - 12/10/2012, 8:51 AM
Yeah, okay, it looks better than I thought it would. The effects looks pretty weak, but [frick] me, did he have to put a twist in the trailer?
WesleyGibson - 12/10/2012, 8:53 AM
Might give it a try.
DCjohnny - 12/10/2012, 8:54 AM
ok ... i think this movie and Oblivion are based on same concept.... earth abandoned with no survivors ... and so on
Stumblin - 12/10/2012, 8:55 AM
Guess what I'm going to do? Not watch this movie and watch something else that actually wont suck.
Stumblin - 12/10/2012, 8:58 AM
@FrankieDedo, what the hell are you talking about? When are they even remotely giggling?
NorrinRaddical - 12/10/2012, 8:59 AM
well i WANT this to be good... I mean, the concept is up my alley, but I'm reserving judgement for a while....
Greengo - 12/10/2012, 9:01 AM
Looks okay to me.

I'ma watch it sooner or later.
ironspider12 - 12/10/2012, 9:02 AM
why are there so many apocalyptic movies these days?
MarkJulian - 12/10/2012, 9:09 AM
You guys think everything sucks except for Marvel movies!?!
Gus - 12/10/2012, 9:13 AM
@ironspider12 - Because it's nearing THE END OF THE WORLD!

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!", the people screamed.
VladMaximus - 12/10/2012, 9:13 AM
I like Will Smith but can he please stop pushing his son on us. The kid can't act and this is an obvious vehicle to try an push him into the limelight. Karate kid sucked and so will this.
Nomis1800 - 12/10/2012, 9:13 AM
JADEN, STOP!!!!! Horrible kid "actor".
Stumblin - 12/10/2012, 9:13 AM
@MarkJulian, no, just pretty much anything Shamalackatalent puts out.
Shamo - 12/10/2012, 9:14 AM
looks amazing. and Will Smith looks to actually be acting again as opposed to playing himself. will watch.
Ric - 12/10/2012, 9:15 AM
not bad ... not bad at all!
Battabing - 12/10/2012, 9:16 AM
Looks good, Will!
ElShumway - 12/10/2012, 9:18 AM
@MarkJulian No I think Marvel movies suck too.
fullmetal - 12/10/2012, 9:19 AM
F--- Will Smith, his son, and his whole damned family.
rocky - 12/10/2012, 9:22 AM
That looked pretty impressive. I was skeptical at first but I'm down now
Kyos - 12/10/2012, 9:26 AM
So... Oblivion starring Tom Cruise and this starring the Smiths?! Double feature after the blu-rays are out.
IcemanX - 12/10/2012, 9:26 AM
At least this time Will Smith is not alone
lokidokie - 12/10/2012, 9:27 AM
@BattlinMurdock i laughed so hard at your comment i pissed a little.
TheRaven20 - 12/10/2012, 9:34 AM
BattlinMurdock might be right. I thought it was really weird how Will Smith seems to get sucked to the other side of the ship which eventually breaks off as they arte crash landing. It highly plausible.
ClarkFarley2012 - 12/10/2012, 9:42 AM
I'll be seeing this.
otusasio451 - 12/10/2012, 9:44 AM
Will Smith: This is Earth.

M. Night Shyamalan: What a TWIST!
NeoBaggins - 12/10/2012, 9:46 AM
This makes Tom Cruise's movie with the Ovary ship look like Lost in Space 2
BackwardGalaxy - 12/10/2012, 9:49 AM
I'll watch anything with Will Smith in it.
Temple - 12/10/2012, 9:49 AM
Looks interesting, but the visual effects are pretty bad. Hopefully this is not the final product.

@MarkJulian Who said, anything about Marvel movies being any better? Haha, and why bring up marvel movies on this article? Mark...I think your DC fanboyism is showing...
KAPOW - 12/10/2012, 9:54 AM
This looks ok, people seem to have problems with M. Night Shyamalan but Unbreakable was good and the Sixth Sence as well. Will Smith sticking to what he's good at, end of mankind films, lets not forget he was awesome in Independance Day.
Morbius - 12/10/2012, 9:59 AM
This actually looks pretty good.
ahhmynuts - 12/10/2012, 10:02 AM
this...looks awesome! i trust will smiff
tazmaniak - 12/10/2012, 10:03 AM
Maybe Shyamalan's learned his lesson. While he did rewrite the original script, he let someone else rewrite his script, which is what they filmed. So, this will be the first Shyamalan movie where he didn't actually write the shooting script. Maybe the script won't have the same mistakes as his most recent films.
Viking - 12/10/2012, 10:04 AM
You [frick]ing nerds, why the [frick] do you always gotta be so NEGATIVE about EVERYTHING ?!?!? Go back and read your comics, we don't need your negativity.
ArtisticErotic - 12/10/2012, 10:04 AM
Looks like something I'll watch on TV. I've learned not let trailers fool me.
