The Official Synopsis for G.I JOE: RETALIATION Has Been Unveiled

The first trailer has (shockingly) received positive reactions and now we have this full synopsis gives us a better idea of the plot than the explosion-filled trailer did. Check it out below!

A follow-up to the 2009 release of G.I. JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA, which grossed over $300M worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with HASBRO and di Bonaventura Pictures, commences production on G.I. JOE: RETALIATION. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.


Short synopsis huh? It does reveal some new details though, what does it mean by threats from within the government that jeapardize their very existence? We'll have to wait and see!

G.I Joe: Retaliation is released on June 29 2012. stars The Rock, Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum, Arnold Vosloo, Adrianne Palicki and is directed by Jon M. Chu

Sorry guys, the the poster was just a filler. We should get an official one soon, but for now we'll have to make do with that crappy one and the synopsis.

Zartan disguised as the President might not be the only thing--ever hear of the cabal of corrupt generals called "The Jugglers", who antagonized the team in the comics.

that synopsis is about as rich and detailed as the plot is going to be
