DIALOGUE
Man in the Shadows: Hello, Doctor, did you tell the boy?
Dr. Curt Connors: Tell him what?
Man in the Shadows: Did you tell the boy the truth about his father?
Dr. Curt Connors: No.
Man in the Shadows: Well, that’s very good, so we’ll let him be for now.”
Dr. Curt Connors: You should leave him alone!
So who was this mysterious character (played by Michael Masse) who appeared in Dr. Curt Connors jail cell?
The most popular answer to question seems to be none other than Norman Osborn who was hinted at several times throughout the course of the film. This is quite a valid assumption, however in a recent interview Rhys Ifans states that the mysterious character IS NOT Norman Osborn.

Now I know that when an actor denies something like this that there is never a %100 certainty that he is telling the truth. But just for this article's sake, why don't we imagine he was telling the truth.. who else could it be? Mysterio, Chameleon and Electro have popped up a few times but it was one of Jolt17's comments that caught my attention. He suggested it may be none other than Edward Brock Sr.
Michael Massee | Edward Brock Sr.
"Eddie Brock Senior teamed together with Richard Parker to develop a revolutionary means to heal humanity of disease and illness. Their basis was to create a symbiote, The Suit; the project was named Project Venom."
Sounds a bit similar to the role Dr. Curt Connors played with Peter's father doesn't it? Except they seemed to have swapped Project Venom with Project Lizard (so to speak). So could this be a way of lining up Venom for a future film? Not necessarily the direct sequel coming out sometime in 2014 but possibly the second one, ending the trilogy?
Please, give me your thoughts in the usual place below.
