Are these actors in the running to play these respective parts? What happened to Jon Hamm as Superman? There were rumblings that WB were pursuing him with great persistence

What about joe manganiello?
People say his nose is too big but once you see him in action it doesn;t stand out as much. Also he has much more Charisma than any of the contenders to be Superman. He eve looks like Byrne's superman drawings. Seriously look it up.
He's my top choice so far. The charisma, the build, the acting chops and even knowledge and love for the character. The nose can be forgiven.
Even Reeve had a small nose. Manganiello has too much going for him to have that be a set back.

David S. Goyer isn't a good director and Jonathan isn't experienced. Sure he has to start somewhere but that place shouldn't be Superman. Superman should be an unknown but Routh wouldn't be good for Nolan's Superman. No offense but I don't think any of those are good choices for Lex Luthor and why is Routh a choice but not Kevin Spacey?

Man Routh as Supes and Anne Hathaway as Lois Lane would [frick]ing rock that screen!!!

Plus Fiennes as Luthor would own on so many leves! He is an amazing actor and would bring alot to the role!

Out of the choices here I chose Jared Padalecki (6'4")
for Supes. Nolan said he was looking at someone
from TV who no one would expect.

I still feel that Tom Welling & Erica Durance
will be Clark & Lois on the big screen in Nolan's
"MAN OF STEEL", whether people want it or not!

I think Billy Zane would be perfect for Lex. And damn...they should just stay with Routh for Superman. Also, I think Anne Hathaway would have good chemistry with Routh as Lois Lane.

I know some of you guys may kill me for saying this: I don't get the Emily Blunt love. I'm sorry, I know there are some guys out there that think the sun rises for the woman, but I think her acting is kind of flat and she's not as breathtakingly attractive as is made out. She's just okay to me in all those facets.

Director: Danny Boyle
Superman: Josh Hartnett or Daniel Cudmore
Lois Lane: Olivia Wilde or Emily Blunt
Lex Luthor: Billy Zane

Not the best selection of actors for Superman.

Routh will NOT be playing Superman, so that is a moot point. They would have to do a continuity story line then and I don't think they will go down the son of Superman path again. Plus someone with an inside source at WB has told me they will not be going with him again. It only makes sense to me why they wouldn't want to.

No meterosexual sissy men, so that removes Cavill from the list. The others don't even really look like him. Manganiello can get a nose job and he would have the look and is one of the few actors who has the perfect build for Superman. Jared has the build, but not really the look. It's about time we have a real SuperMAN who has the physically imposing stature that should be expected from the Man of Steel.

Superman should be in his early to mid-thirties. I am not too much for going for a really young, or old Superman.

i'm againist nolan but he could be ok

all the superman choices are decent except Rick Malambri
all the luthur's are great except weaving (don't get me wrong weaving would be good i just think all the choices would be better)
the only one i can't see as lois is biel (wonder woman if anything) not too big on wilde either

I'm not surprised Routh is winning in the poll, I hope he doesn't get chosen to play the role again.
