Hancock 2 Has Been Delayed

Peter Berg,the director of Hancock 2,has signed on to do another film before it. Can anyone guess what it is...?

If you are like me then you were excited to see the sequel to Hancock being in pre-production but now it seems like we will have to wait a little longer.

According to IGN, Berg has signed on to direct Battleship,the live-action film version of the Hasbro board game. That's good news for all you board-game-as-movie fans, but not so good news for anyone who was hoping to see Hancock 2 anytime soon.

Battleship is slated for release July 1,2011.

	I NEVER saw Hancock, NEVER will, and NEVER will see the stupid sequel. I found it offensive that a movie studio had to pull such a copycat chickensht move making up a superhero JUST to be a Will Smith vehicle when there are so many EXCELLENT superhero stories out there just begging to be made into movies. As far as making a movie of Battleship, I cannot think of a more stupid concept for a movie. What the hell, two hours of two snot-faced brats calling out "B-4"? "E-5!" OOOO, you sunk my battleship! ??????? Look. You want to make a naval battle film, ships going at it toe-to-toe, naval gunnery battles between massive grey behemoths? Why not a REAL naval battle, like the Battle of Leyte Gulf, or Samar, or Sunda Straits, or Derailing the Tokyo Express? Hollyweird has FAR too much heavy drug use, guys. 	I'm still loling at the standoff i had with a colleage the other day who TOLD me that Hancock was based on a comic book :P I was like 'nahhh I think I would have heard dude...' (trying to be polite about it) But well, when a 35 year old man thinks he knows more than a 22 year old woman, it escalates. I was polite to the guy all the way through trying to not let him dig the whole deeper. He was telling storylines and all sorts! Couldn't believe it.
