And it looks great!

Warner Brothers has now released a picture from Green Lantern: The Animated Series in high resolution. WB has also announced the schedule at Comic Con for the GL:TAS panel:
"Friday, July 22, 2011 2:00–3:00 p.m. Room 6BCF
Green Lantern: The Animated Series Video Presentation and Q and A."
The lucky fans will be able to watch exclusive footage of this highly anticipated new superhero/space epic series at Comic-Con. The infamous animator, producer and artist Bruce Timm will be at the panel.
Along with Warner Bros. Animation’s Sam Register (Teen Titans), producer Giancarlo Volpe (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and producer/story editor Jim Krieg (Ben 10: Alien Swarm).
Anyway, here's the image you've been waiting for:

I know some of you probably didn't except a style so much alike the former work of Bruce Timm. I however find this very exciting! We don't know for certain untill we've seen it in action but the potential truly shines through here. If it can embody the vastness of different and dark themes like Star Wars: The Clone Wars then this can really be something else! I am keeping a very wide and keen eye on this project as it continues!
By default we will probably experience many different planets and probably a great deal of famous DC characters, galactic and maybe some earthbound. It would be beyond great to see Hal and Barry just for a few seconds! I can't see any reasons why they won't feature the Man of Steel himself in one episode.
What do you guys think?
Green Lantern: The Animated Series will center Hal Jordan and his partner Kilowog who find themselves alone on the edge of the Guardian Frontier fighting off an invasion by the deadly Red Lantern Corps.
