The Warren Ellis comic book and Summit's adaptation "Red" will be adding four new faces to the comic book movie; Richard Dreyfuss, Brian Cox, Julian McMahon and long time TV/film veteran Ernest Borgnine are in negotiations to join the all-star cast to the fold, reported by Heat Vision. The story of "Red" tells of a former black-ops CIA agent (which will be played by Bruce Willis) who's chilling now, and having a quiet life living in retirement peacefully till some hi-tech assassins are ordered to kill him for knowing too much from being in the CIA which ain't good for Bruce.
Brian Cox: Reported Will be playing a former Cold War spy and the nemesis of Willis's CIA agent.
Richard Dreyfuss: Will be a wealthy gentleman who built his entire fortune out of lucrative government contracts.
Julian McMahon: Would be playing a Vice President with a very dark side who is at the center of it all.
Ernest Borgnine: Will be playing the CIA's keeper of all the darkest records.
Starring also: Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, Mary Louise Parker and John C. Reilly.
Director is Robert Schwentke (The Time Traveler's Wife), and screenplay by "Whiteouts" Jon and Erich Hoeber.
Its to start filming early next year and many thanks to Heat Vision for the heads up.
