Fan Favorite Bruce Campbell Returns with Bruce vs. Frankenstein!

Bruce Campbell has confirmed to Ain't It Cool News that there will be a sequel to the "My Name is Bruce" movie, where he played himself, a Dark Horse comics production...

Bruce sent out a statement saying that his boss Mike Richardson at Dark Horse would "crush my spleen, but screw it, the fans deserve to know."

He then went on with his statement to say: "So with great trepidation I officially announce Bruce Vs. Frankenstein, the sequel to My Name is Bruce. Principal photography begins this fall in Oregon. I'd like to live long enough to see the cameras roll, so please, for the love of God, do not tell anyone - I can't risk this announcement getting back to Mike! Thank you."

The original 2007 movie "My Name is Bruce," Bruce Campbell plays himself, who is mistaken for his character he plays in the "Evil Dead" movies Ash and forced to fight a real life monster - the Chinese protector of the dead, Guan-Di.

I saw a screening of My Name Is Bruce, hosted by the man himself. (living in his native Michigan has it's perks).

It was everything you'd expect from Bruce spoofing himself and his movies. I loved it and can't wait for the sequel!

Yeah, Leee, the Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash comics are sweet. If they're ever gonna make that movie or another Evil Dead though, they better get started, cause our man Brucie ain't no spring chicken anymore:)

@LEEE its one of my favorite shows on tv right now but you have to watch from the start to make it that much better of a show but bruce campbell is very good in it

Burn Notice is good. It's on USA. Best TV show that Bruce has been in since Brisco County Jr. Bubba ho tep was great, wasn't a big fan of My name is Bruce, but hey I'm thinking we'll never see Evil Dead 4 so at least this is something.

Big fan of Bruce Campbell and nothing beats Army of Darkness. So many classic lines. My Name Is Bruce didn't do it for me. I found it to be pretty lame. The only thing that made it bearable to watch was that it was Bruce Campbell.

"My Name is Bruce" was a horrible movie, I mean I enjoy my crapfest movies like "Corpse Grinders" but this wasn't even entertaining. I had to stop watching after the first 40 minutes.

They might have been on a budget but that's no excuse to just put out pure suck.

Sweet! I saw a screening in Hartford, CT where he came out after and did q and a withe the crowd. Not only did I get to shake his hand but he condoned me naming my first kid after him. Happiest day of my life.

BC has been one of my favorite actors since I saw the trailer for Army of Darkness back in 91'. Then Brisco came on the air and I thought he was the cat's meow.
