Viggo Mortensen - 1st Choice
Guy Pearce - 2nd Choice
Michael Fassbender - 3rd choice (The only reason he's 3rd choice is because of his active role as Magneto)
Thythoutrust - 1/28/2013, 8:07 AM
a younger Viggo Mortensen.
Or the guy from Hell on Wheels.
CarlXVIGarfield - 1/28/2013, 8:08 AM

Oh and Michael Fassbender.
SmellofDuty - 1/28/2013, 8:11 AM
Benedict Cumberbatch, there is no other choice.
JULEZ13 - 1/28/2013, 8:11 AM
Someone who's not in their 40s or older.
Shadowmaster35 - 1/28/2013, 8:11 AM
Matt Bomer could pull off a younger strange. Patrick Dempsey if they wanna go with an older version of him.
Dedpool - 1/28/2013, 8:12 AM
Jim Caviezel! And if not then Luke Evans!
ahhmynuts - 1/28/2013, 8:13 AM

Jon Hamm.
AvengersRock - 1/28/2013, 8:18 AM
Johnny Depp would be great - I think he could make magic believable, but he may be too old. Benedict Cumberbatch could do it well and is young enough to be able to do it for quite a few years. James Caviezel could also do it justice. Michael Fassbender would be great too!

In order of preference:
1. Johnny Depp
2. Benedict Cumberbatch and Michael Fassbender (tie)
4. James Caviezel
Danthemovieman - 1/28/2013, 8:19 AM
Wes Bentley, Johnny Depp, Hugh Laurie, Viggo Mortensen, Liam Neeson, or Jimmy Smits.
SupermanFan - 1/28/2013, 8:19 AM
@supermarioworldE Ryan Reynolds is that a [frick]ing Joke - My choice Patrick Dempsey

Patrick Dempsy
AvengersRock - 1/28/2013, 8:21 AM
I saw the note about Matt Bomer. I think he could do it justice. Patrick Dempsey is probably too old to do many of the stunts that would be required.
mkilban2 - 1/28/2013, 8:21 AM

Or how about this crazy one. Joel Edgerton?? Way out from left field, I know.
Valandil - 1/28/2013, 8:29 AM
Joel Edgerton. I'd save Cumberbatch for Ant Man.

thaonly1guly - 1/28/2013, 8:36 AM

1) Jim Caviezel
2) Viggo Mortensen
3) Nick Kroll
DefcoN - 1/28/2013, 8:41 AM
My first choice would have been Viggo Mortensen, but since he is (probably) out, I'd say Ron Livingston.

In all honesty, Benedict Cumberbatch. Also, oddly enough, according to his Wiki (hmmm) he actually taught at a Tibetan monastery in his gap year.
