Hero vs hero is cool, but until someone has the balls to write a true vs. story without some

other crisis happens in the middle of their battle that forces them to work together, and in the

end realize that their on the same side and they go back to their respective universes.
Tajin88 - 2/10/2013, 12:16 AM
Hulk is just Hulk, but Superman is Superman. Oh and first!
Tajin88 - 2/10/2013, 12:16 AM
Nooooooooooooo!
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 12:20 AM
HULK has to try to kill SUPERMAN, SUPERMAN has to try not to kill HULK.
Seejay - 2/10/2013, 12:34 AM
It is like Thor vs Hulk.

If Superman goes all out from the start - he wins.

If Superman tries to reason and drag it out - he loose.
HAILHYDRA - 2/10/2013, 12:42 AM
Superman's powers make no sense. Someone explain to me how he can fly faster than a speeding bullet but when it comes to hand to hand combat he seems to fight at a normal speed. Seems to me that if someone could move that fast they would be impossible to hit and could land 100 punches in the blink of an eye.
loki668 - 2/10/2013, 12:51 AM
Superman doesn't kill. While this is admirable, it's also a weakness when facing someone like the Hulk. If it's the WorldBreaker Hulk, then it could be a fatal miscalculation on Superman's part. I think that Superman's variety of powers could be a difference maker that could win the fight for him, but if he goes in to slug it out while trying to "reach" Banner, he's going to, eventually, have to pick his face up off of the floor.

Can the Hulk breath in space? Superman just needs to fly into space and send an asteroid crashing down on whatever planet the Hulk is on and its game over.
SageMode - 2/10/2013, 1:06 AM
That depends on which incarnation of the Hulk he's fighting. But if he's goin up against World War Hulk / Worldbreaker Hulk, Supes is done.

NEWBUS

Hulk doesn't need to breathe. And he once smashed an asteroid that was 2x the size of the planet Earth.
loki668 - 2/10/2013, 1:17 AM
I bet they end up making out before they fight. Yeah, that's right. I put that image in your head. Good luck sleeping tonight!

Superman: "I'm going to use my x-ray vision to see if you're green all over."

Hulk: "You don't need x-ray vision for that!"

BOW CHICKA WOW WOW!!!

Even I'm a little disturbed.

superman wins in every scenario, he outclasses hulk in every way
marvel54 - 2/10/2013, 1:48 AM
hulk all the way
SuperDan89 - 2/10/2013, 1:49 AM
@SageMode: "That depends on which incarnation of the Hulk he's fighting. But if he's goin up against World War Hulk / Worldbreaker Hulk, Supes is done."

Aye and if it were Superman Prime, World War Hulk would be [frick]ed, it works both ways.
mgeoff88 - 2/10/2013, 1:52 AM
Tough call. Superman has a variety of superpowers at his disposal while the Hulk doesn't.

But the Hulk's physical strength is increased by how angry he gets. It's unmeasurable.

Superman does pull his punches, but if he was fighting someone as dangerous as the Hulk, he wouldn't hold back, because Hulk wouldn't and he knows he would lose if he did. Superman would never kill him though.

I would say it's a draw.

@loki LOL! I vote for the non-disturbing version:

"Superman: I'm going to use my x-ray vision to see if you're green all over.

She-Hulk: You don't need x-ray vision for that!

BOW CHICKA WOW WOW!!!"

;P
DPeterParker - 2/10/2013, 2:05 AM
I think they would hit each other so hard they both fall into a coma.
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 2:26 AM
Technically, Superman could kill Hulk by just staring at him...Hulk is NOTHING for Superman.
Fenix122 - 2/10/2013, 2:43 AM
You guys underestimate Hulk...Superman isnt stronger than Hulk, Supes can move a few planets Hulk can crush an asteroid that weighs a few planets.

It's hard pressed for both sides, but I think strongest versions Worldbreaker Hulk vs Pre-crisis Superman then Superman wins, but current versions Hulk would defintely win this battle. Also hasn't Superman lost to Doomsday? Who has VERY similar attributes as Hulk...and hasn't Hulk beaten Gladiator...which is Marvel's equivalent of Superman. Anyways, If Superman was to attack quickly and decisively he could beat and/or stalemate Hulk, but if Superman holds back (which he regularly does) and lets the fight drag on then Hulk would become too much to handle, Hulk is already Thor/Wonder Woman-level strength when he starts and that us already just barely below Superman's level but then withinh the first few minutes of the fight Hulk will have reached Superman's level if strength and after a whike he will have surpassed it. So I gave my vote to Hulk...
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 2:48 AM
Why are we having this discussion? Superman has already beaten Hulk... Like twice, $h!t, maybe even more times than that...
GUNSMITH - 2/10/2013, 2:54 AM
Fenix122 - 2/10/2013, 2:56 AM
@knight300
Superman beat Hulk in a crossover...crossovers are non-canon so they don't mean anything. And also the writers even say that if they looked objectively the outcomes would be very different, and that they always give the battle to the more popular character... so OF COURSE Superman would win everything.

I mean seriously, some of the crossover outcomes were ridiculous...
Wolverine beat Lobo? Ridiculous, stupid and it could never happen.
Storm beat WW? Impossible...
Batman beat Cap?

All of those just made me laugh, those outcomes would never actually happen and to think so is a blatant fanboy bias.
GUNSMITH - 2/10/2013, 3:06 AM
THEY WOULD JUST KEEP FIGHTING TO NO END. HULK IS SCIENCE..SUPERMAN IS ONLY STOPPED BY KRYPTONITE OR MAGIC HULK IS NEITHER, HULK IS STRONGER AND CONTINUOUSLY GETS STRONGER SUPERMAN IS SMARTER. IT WOULD GO ON AND ON TILL PIGS FLY.
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 3:07 AM
Referring to their physical density... Hulk would spend all day trying to separate Superman's head from his body and still fail... Superman could kick Hulks head clean off...
Spideyguy94 - 2/10/2013, 3:12 AM
It really depends, if supes went all out straight away he would probably win. But if he gave hulk too much time hulk would win, because the thing with hulk is the angrier he gets the stronger he gets, so if you give him enough time I.e. world war hulk, he could take down galactus.
GUNSMITH - 2/10/2013, 3:13 AM
HULK JUST KEEPS REGENERATING AND HE RECOVERS AND REGENERATES FASTER WHEN HE'S PISSED.
Fenix122 - 2/10/2013, 3:16 AM
@Knight
Yeah, but he wouldn't do that. Clark doesent kill, not saying that's a bad thing because it's an admirable trait but it would become a bit of a weakness when fighting someone like Hulk. Superman wouldn't rip his head off because he probably knows that Hulk is more good than bad and killing him would result in taking away a force of good.
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 3:16 AM
Fenix122

You are right, Wolverine can't beat Lobo, Storm can't beat WW, but to think Superman can't beat Hulk is completely ridiculous... lets put all character flaws aside... heat vision would render Hulk to ashes.

Did you ever see when Peter Parker had Cosmic powers? 1 punch put Hulk in space holding his breath in regret... Hulk was like "i shouldn't talk so much... cause now i can't get down" If Peter didn't go out there to get him, there would be no Hulk today...

Now think about the most seasoned Kryptonian, powered by solar energy, getting stronger every day, whether he likes it or not... Hulk doesn't compare when his power relies on his emotion. Kinda makes Hulk sound like a bitch, now that I put it that way
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 3:23 AM
Fenix122

My point is NOT Superman WOULD'NT kill, my point is Superman CAN kill Hulk.
Fenix122 - 2/10/2013, 3:25 AM
@Knight
I never said Superman couldn't beat Hulk, but it'd be near impossible for Wolverine to beat Lobo or for Storm to beat WW or for Batman to beat Cap...I wasn't saying Supes could never beat Hulk I was just completely discrediting crossovers...

Superman vs Hulk is a VERY close battle and it could go either way, to say its a easy win is being a bit irrational, I mean these are the two strongest heroes of each universe, this would be battle of the ages and I actually think they would stalemate more often than not, just like Hulk vs Sentry. But I also don't think Heat Vision would hurt Hulk very much, it wouldn't render him to ashes that's for sure...his body can take Thor's lightning and Cyclops' blasts and yeah it hurts him but he quickly regenerates from it, I feel the same would happen with Superman's heat vision..
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 3:27 AM
GUNSMITH
"HULK JUST KEEPS REGENERATING AND HE RECOVERS AND REGENERATES FASTER WHEN HE'S PISSED."

Superman is invulnerable... and whatever damage he gets heals faster than Hulk no matter how he feels...
Spideyguy94 - 2/10/2013, 3:29 AM
@Knight when spidey punched hulk into space he had the power cosmic and that was grey hulk, who starts out at a lower power set then green hulk so it takes longer for him to get stronger. If hulk got angry enough he could take out supes. Doomsday killed supes and all he used was his fists, and considering hulk can get stronger than doomsday if he gets angry enough like he did in world war hulk he could kill supes. I'm not saying hulk would definitely win because like I said it all depends on circumstance like whether supes know what he's up against and go all out straight away, or he tried to defuse the situation and try to calm hulk down, but in that the mean time hulk could get angry enough to really challenge.
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 3:34 AM
If Superman shaves with his heat vision, then he could incinerate Hulk. If Cyclops' beams were as powerful as Superman's, he would melt his own lil head... nothing on earth is as hot as Superman's heat, not even Thor's nor Shazzam's Lightning, its like heat from the heart of a sun...
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 3:37 AM
Hulk doesn't stand a chance against Doomsday... Doomsday would make Hulk his bitch... Literally no questions asked
Pokeysteve - 2/10/2013, 3:52 AM
It's embarrassing how close this is. Who the hell voted for Hulk?!
Spideyguy94 - 2/10/2013, 3:53 AM
@KNIGHT300 If hulk got angry enough he could take out doomsday.
unknownfacts - 2/10/2013, 4:05 AM
Superman vs Hulk the endless debate.Hard call because both are as strong as they need to be.But I put money on Supes only because of the Sun and his speed.Doomsday technically didn't kill him he died/healing coma(hahaha)using all might to stop Doomsday. It's simular to the African American folk lore of Henry Irons. He died putting all his effort into beating the machine that they were going to out sorce his job to.
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 4:06 AM
Spideyguy94

Hulk wouldn't have time to get angry enough to beat Doomsday, Doomsday don't waste time, and he is MUCH too fast for Hulk
Spideyguy94 - 2/10/2013, 4:12 AM
@Knight True. If banner had just turned into the hulk then yeah doomsday would wipe the floor with him.
Fenix122 - 2/10/2013, 4:13 AM
Hulk could beat Doomsday, after a long and hard battle but still he'd win that fight. Hulk would already be able to give Doomsday a hard run for his money even when he's just at base level, Doomsday would start attacking Hulk and Hulk would be able to take those hits but they would make him a bit angrier and then as the fight progresses Hulk wound overpower him.
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 4:21 AM
Lets not forget rage powers up Doomsday too, that and pain are his main motivators. I think Doomsday might be able to hurt Hulk so fast he'll start to cry out in pain before he even remembers how to get pissed.

Everybody here saw the AVENGERS movie right? Well Superman could have did all that by his self...

Don't believe me? Watch the Animated series when Darkseid brought his entire army to Earth, it was pretty much the same thing, but Clark was alone...
Fenix122 - 2/10/2013, 4:24 AM
Hulk would've been able to do it by himself too, the only difference was that Loki outsmarted all of them and yes, he would've initially outsmarted Superman as well.
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 4:33 AM
Hulk can't fly, nor shoot anything, nor can he move at lightning speeds allowing him to cover an entire city as well as Superman could.

Superman is to the Universe, what Hulk is to Earth.
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 4:36 AM
They wouldn't call him SUPERMAN, if a super powered genetically engineered HUMAN BEING could beat him...
SirGeneralGreatness - 2/10/2013, 4:42 AM
If it were Superman Prime.....

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Game over.
KNIGHT3000 - 2/10/2013, 4:44 AM
Kicking Hulk's a$$?

This looks like a job for Superman...
AnungUnRama - 2/10/2013, 4:47 AM

AnungUnRama - 2/10/2013, 4:48 AM
. Some said above Doomsday would be quite similar to Hulk. After their first encounter - which was basically a draw, because Superman held back too long until he realized he rather shouldn't - Superman beat Doomsday several times. So using those kinds of arguments Superman should beat Hulk too. In Superman/Batman: Apocalypse Superman even vaporized a whole army of Doomsday clones with his heat vision. They couldn't even get close enough to throw one single punch. Even though I consider those comparison types of argument inappropriate that shows that Superman's heat vision is powerful enough for an instant win, and that he is willing to kill an opponent if it is necessary to protects the planet (as he did in his first encounter with DD, too). I think that should put this “Superman could, but he wouldn’t” argument aside, too. That is ridiculous anyway. Take the scenario as both are willing to do whatever they are capable of to win this.
marvel72 - 2/10/2013, 4:52 AM
if its world war hulk bye bye superman, all of earths heroes couldn't take the hulk in that storyline.

sentry is more powerful than superman read this from marvel.com

The Sentry's abilities derive from an experimental serum that creates a phase-shift in his molecules, causing each atom to step an instant ahead of the current time line. The serum induces a photosynthetic reaction, resulting in a hyper state of consciousness. Though most of his powers and their limits are still unknown, examples he has demonstrated so far are super-strength, super-speed, invulnerability, and flight.

The Sentry can also project energy fields, control light, and has vast psychic and mental forces mainly used for holding his physical powers together, though it is not yet known whether the Sentry can use them the way Professor X and other psychics use theirs; the only psychic abilities he had displayed so far is implanting his memories inside Paul Jenkins' mind and calming the fury of the Hulk.
It may be theorized that the Sentry also has the ability to produce hard-light constructs similar to those of Dazzler's when it was revealed that the Void is a just an expression of his repressed persona, and thus his creation. With the people dubbing The Sentry as the world's most powerful superhero, and with the serum causing a photosynthetic reaction to his body, completely altering his state of consciousness, it is nonetheless conceivable that Sentry's powers are limitless, and may even rival those of the Silver Surfer's and Phoenix's. In effect, the Sentry's powers are seemingly limitless.

IronDean2099 - 2/10/2013, 5:01 AM
The Hulk can't die. He doesn't need food, water or rest. He might have trouble getting near Superman, but Superman will have more trouble getting away from Hulk.
It would go on endlessly. The only definitive outcome I can think of, is assuming both universes get merged, Lex Luthor or another DC villain would realize that the Hulk is their best chance to destroy Superman and maybe point him in the direction of somewhere Kryptonite related.
marvel72 - 2/10/2013, 5:08 AM
the real winner depends on the company,if marvel wrote a hulk vs superman comic, hulk wins & if it was dc superman would win.
