Darkseid.I mean, all he has to do is turn Apokolips into that giant golem, and then have a planet sized battle with Galactus. Plus he has Omega Beams

I believe Galactus beat up Darkseid, but when he wanted to eat Apokolips he realized there wasn't really a live planet for him to feast upon. I remember it something like this:

Galactus: The [frick]?! You let me wallop you good for this lifeless shithole?

Darkseid: Suck it, man, it's MY lifeless shithole.

Galactus: Whatever, you psycho, I'm outta here.

That whole situation is moot anyway because they exist in two separate universes and it would be a draw.

It just hit me that Galactus is homeless he wanders around space eating whatever he can get his hands on and begs humans for food sources and on that cover he is not wearing any pants.

I wrote this story when I was 12. I told it to George Perez and John Byrne at a convention in 1994. Perez encouraged Byrne to actually produce it. My version was pretty different but the end was basically the same. I am credited in the inside cover in a dedication.
I think it might be fun to someday see my version done. With all the 12 year old me bits intact. It basically ends in a full on Marvel/DC slugfest because Reed Richards encourages Galactus to consume Apokolips. His belief is that the god powered world will sustain him for the next thousand years. Superman feels that even though Darkseid is evil Apokolips should be defended from Galactus. So Reed brings his friends, and Supes brings his, but it ends the same. Apokolips is not fit for consumption. So this comic was pretty much my 15 minutes. The John Byrne version anyway.
