After several teases by Jim Starlin himself it has now been confirmed that Starlin will return to the character Thanos in the 2014 original Marvel graphic novel Thanos: The Infinity Revelation.

Starlin promises that Thanos will visit many of the big names in Marvel’s cosmic gallery like the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Annihilators as they fight what Starlin calling impending “universal change.”

Starlin says that the catstrophe that Thanos will face was caused by Thanos himself and that he will be forced to work with the man he once killed and who may just be his only friend, ADAM WARLOCK.

Excellent. Perhaps this might answer some questions about the cancerverse as well and how Thanos, Star Lord and possible Nova got out?

@ intruder - A Certified Classic!

And for that time, when it came out... that kind of "all to real" death for a superhero was unheard of.
Dustellar - 12/30/2013, 9:58 PM
@KeefNCookies is from the same graphic novel... in Newsarama Starlin gave more information and images about it.
