POLL: Which character do you want to see in Avengers 2 the most?

With the first Avengers film appearing to have the trimmings of a success, Avengers 2 is most likely going to come in the near future. Which heroes would you like to see added to the Avenger roster?

Ant-Man

Hank Pym has always been a central character to the Avengers. With Edgar Wright still attached and Kevin Feige heavily hinting towards this the appearance of Ant-Man and Wasp, this one appears like the most likely one to appear, but is he your favorite?

Black Panther

T'Challa has been hinted at in a couple of the films already. Kevin Feige has shown interest in the character, and would add a lot to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hopefully it'll get a good actor and director attached to it. I for one am looking forward to this one in particular.

Dr. Strange

Thor was a tough character to translate into film for a mainstream audience, but Kenneth Branagh somehow pulled it off. Now the next challenge for Marvel is to make Dr. Strange a success. Out of all the Avengers, I think this is perhaps the hardest character to sell. But Thor is proof that it can be done. Is there at least enough fans out there wanting to see this movie to convince Marvel to move ahead with a Dr. Strange solo film? Perhaps a Mandarin appearance in Iron Man 3 could serve as a segue into a Dr. Strange movie.

Ms. Marvel

The lovely Ms. Marvel has been rumored to have a show coming up. Is that enough? I feel that the Avengers could certainly use more female members, and Ms. Marvel is my favorite. I sure hope her solo film isn't too far off.

Namor

The Sub-Mariner would add some interesting dynamics to the Avengers as well as introduce a very different atmosphere for a film in general. Can a aquatic superhero ever be done right? Let's hope so because Namor is just plain awesome.

Wasp

Pym's wife would be a nice addition to the Avengers and would naturally appear along with Ant-Man if Ant-Man is made. The question is, is she more of a favorite to fans than her husband?

Vision

Finally there's Vision. He's probably the less talked about hero that has been a common member of the Avengers. The android's introduction would also probably include the involvement of Ultron. Is he popular enough to warrant an appearance? Also, could he even hold his own in a solo film? Perhaps further down the line.

Dynamo - 4/21/2012, 2:42 PM
I want Ant-Man but only if he can become Giant Man. Namor would be awesome too, but I think he works best as a villian...
LMB10 - 4/21/2012, 2:49 PM
Too hard to choose. I'll vote Ant Man, but I'd want him and Wasp... But I also REALLY want Ms. Marvel in the sequel.
AVEN - 4/21/2012, 2:51 PM
Dr. Strange :)

Black Panther and/or Ms. Marvel. Ant-Man and Wasp are lame.
Dynamo - 4/21/2012, 3:23 PM
I'm still not sure if Black Panther would work in live action...
jazzman - 4/21/2012, 3:26 PM
@Dynamo

how black panther wont work?

Dynamo - 4/21/2012, 3:30 PM
@Dynamo
The entire concept of Wakanda seems a bit too far fetched. The mix of superior technology and mysticism seems like it could come off rather contrived.
VIKEME - 4/21/2012, 3:32 PM
Black Panther is the easiest to plug in, I'd like to see Namor tho.
Wildaniel - 4/21/2012, 3:32 PM
Antman and Wasp. Why is there a Avengers movie without 2 of the original members?!?

Carol Denvars (Ms Marvel) needs to be in the next one too.!
SebHope - 4/21/2012, 3:37 PM
Im doubting their going to continue to expand the avengers to much, marvel wont want to take the chance of overcrowding especially since they seem to think the balance is right with this first film. I find quite alot of these characters a bit to corny or out their to be appealing. A god, tech based hero, monster, super strength hero, and highLy trained agents are far more straight forward and easy to blend then many of these characters, and as hulk and shield seem to be staying as add on and avengers movie characters only without solo films for now, i think they want to continue using avengers films for more development of shield and hulk then adding more and more characters. Id expect ant man if as i think edgar wright will blend the heroics and humour properly with the current characters, the restare a while away. I never expect to see an avengers movie overcrowded with heros like the comics it just wouldnt adapt to screen theyd be barely any character development so it would fall flat as dumb overcrowded action.
JDUKE25 - 4/21/2012, 3:39 PM
Black Panther or Dr. Strange. Screw Ant-Man.
SageMode - 4/21/2012, 3:43 PM
Omari Hardwick for Black Panther
JasonCYates - 4/21/2012, 3:45 PM
Lindsay Lohan as the SHE HULK!!!!!!!
Viltrumite - 4/21/2012, 3:46 PM
Where's the option for all of the above?
Except for Dr. Strange. I love him and I really hope that the eventual/possible movie is killer, but I just don't feel that he belongs on the Avengers. All of the others, hells to the yes.
Viltrumite - 4/21/2012, 3:48 PM
Also, if Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox cast the same actors as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch for an Avengers sequel and X-Men: First Class 3 set in the 90's, as a form of loose continuity/connection...that's be great.
SuspenseSmith - 4/21/2012, 3:55 PM
@Vilturmite

All of above would for sure win. I wanted people to make a choice seeing as how Avengers 2 probably will try to keep the list small.
Gerrit - 4/21/2012, 3:55 PM
If they make a few changes to Black Panther and Wakanda then bring it! Second to Black Panther is Doc. Strange, Namor and Vision, doesn't matter for me which one they chose. Then there's Wasp, Ant-Man and Ms. Marvel, none of which I would want to see for now. I know Pym and Wasp are important and classic characters of the comics, but we are talking about movies and I don't see them in the MCU, at least not for a long time. Ms. Marvel doesn't seem apealing at all to me and there's got to be other female characters that Marvel can introduce.
bellEND - 4/21/2012, 4:08 PM
Max Payne! Since he will be in a Marvel comic. His movie sucked balls...
Asterisk - 4/21/2012, 4:08 PM
I'm ready for Black Panther, but I'm sure he'll have a solo movie or Cap will take a visit to Wakanda in CA2.
bellEND - 4/21/2012, 4:09 PM
Actually my idea is pretty gay, don't listen to me.
MrHulkSmashin - 4/21/2012, 4:13 PM
To please people, they'll need Black Panther and another female - probably Ms Marvel. It'll draw in a bigger crowd.
AlexDeLarge87 - 4/21/2012, 4:17 PM
I say Vision. I think he is easiest to plug in. Tony could make him from Jarvis.
Would be awesome to see Paul Bettany join the group physically.

Im all for Black Panther and Henry Pym too. Would love to see Pym building Ultron who then becomes the villain.

Anything can be made possible if you just use your imagination. :)
GreenHalJordan - 4/21/2012, 4:17 PM
Shouldnt this be in features? Anyways, I want to see either black panther or namor. An atlantien war would be awesome!
antonio - 4/21/2012, 4:18 PM
Ms Marvel, Black Panther, and maybe Vision. Wasp and Ant-Man would be great, but I think it'll be hard pulling them off.
AlexDeLarge87 - 4/21/2012, 4:18 PM
Cant wait to see Black Panther, Dr. Strange and Namor on the big screen.

@Dynamo

u do realise Marvel Studio movies are all far fetched. also saying The mix of superior technology and mysticism seems like it could come off rather contrived.

well last time i remember a movie called Thor deal with both technology and mysticism and it was handle well howis that any different from Black Panther.
R888 - 4/21/2012, 4:54 PM
Black Panther
Wildaniel - 4/21/2012, 5:10 PM
PaulRom - 4/21/2012, 7:16 PM
Black Panther, Ant-Man/Wasp, Dr. Strange and Namor. Ms. Marvel would be cool too, as long as she had pants.
TerminatorMode - 4/21/2012, 9:31 PM
ms marvel and black panther for sure - the core team really needs more girls but aside from that ms marvel is a really cool character

also black panther is a badass

@dynamo - asgard is pretty much superior technology meets mysticism. thor even said as much, "your ancestors called it magic but you call it science...i came from a land where they are one and the same" - so i think wakanda isn't a stretch
thalidomide - 4/21/2012, 10:18 PM
Ant-Man = No
Black Panther = Yes
Dr. Strange = Yes
Ms. Marvel = Yes
Namor = No
Wasp = No
Vision = Yes
Cerebro - 4/21/2012, 10:55 PM
Spiderman or Hank Pym
AUSSYACE - 4/22/2012, 1:02 AM
Get the Original Team together first then add the rest of the crew...
MovieMaster - 4/22/2012, 1:34 AM
Keep the main four Avengers. Kick Black Widow and Hawkeye out and replace them with Ant-Man (who should spend most of the film as Goliath), Wasp and Doctor Strange. Then for Avengers 3 have Cap, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man, Vision and Black Panther.
marvel72 - 4/22/2012, 12:35 PM
which character do i want to see in the avengers 2?

1st vision(avengers 2)
2nd namor(avengers 2 or 3)
3rd black panther(avengers 2)
4th wasp(avengers 2)
5th ant-man(avengers 2)
6th dr.strange(avengers 3,maybe i'd rather see him join the defenders)
7th ms.marvel(avengers 3)

i think scarlet witch should be considered with the vision for the avengers 2.
SpeedyX10 - 4/22/2012, 5:57 PM
Honestly, I would like to see War Machine but if I had to pick one the listed characters, it would be vision.
Fenix122 - 11/16/2012, 9:27 PM
Characters I want to see

Ironfist-Unique and Awesome, one of my favorites.

Ant-Man (Pym)-The best of the Ant-Men, he would bring a lot more to the table than Lang.

Black Panther-He would add racial diversity, but he's SO much more than token black, he's a great Avenger.

The Wasp-Where Pym is you will find the Wasp.

Lucas Cage-Yes, Cage is somewhat similar to Cap, but he would be a good addition to the team, he's a family man who will be fighting to protect his children and not just a temporary girlfriend.

Ms. Marvel-The team needs a strong lead female, more so than Widow or Wasp one who can actually beat up a bunch of the other team members.

Swordsman-I'm probably in the minority here, but Swordsman is one of the only Avengers to ever use a sword, they could make him a rogue S.H.I.E.L.D. agent or something, and the Avengers have to chase him down or something, he could bring a uniqueness to the team that few others could.

Vision-The Vision is a classic Avenger, they would have to introduce Ultron first, but Vision is the robot/alien dude that brings a somewhat cosmic feeling to the team. (Kinda like MMH in JLA)

Doctor Strange-Doc Strange would take on the magician part of the team opening them up to a supernatural world.

Characters I DON'T want to see

Hercules-We already have a mythical heavyweight and that's Thor, Hercules is only good when Thor is not around, not to mention Thor is way cooler than he is.

Gilgamesh-^^^^^ Same reason.

Ant-Man (Lang)-I've heard rumor that Edgar Wright's upcoming "Ant-Man" film, that they might actually have Lang instead of Pym, I've also heard they might have both, Pym was the best Ant-Man he has a much more interesting character than Lang, I don't mind Lang but if we get Pym, Lang is not necessary.

Giant Girl-I like Giant Girl, I really do but like i said before if we have Pym then Lang and Giant Girl are not necessary.

Red Hulk-I Love all the hulks, but Red Hulk doesent even compare to the original Hulk, the only way I would like it if Red Hulk was in the Avengers film is if Hulk is killed off, and that doesent seem likely.

Wolverine-Not just because of the whole movie rights thing, Wolverine is my favorite superhero of all time, but I don't think he was a good avenger, he should have just stuck with X-Men and a solo career, Avengers was too much.

The Sentry-The Sentry is heavily over powered and overshadows the rest of the team, I don't think he made a good Avenger, should have stuck to a solo career.

 Doctor Druid-Doctor Strange will most likely take up the magician position, Doc Druid is not needed.

U.S. Agent-We already have Cap, U.S. Agent is not a bad character, but we already have Steve Rogers, and if Steve dies Bucky will most likely take over as Cap.

Starfox-Starfox  is generic and totally gross.

The Fantastic Four Members-I want the Fantastic Four to get their own film, possibly in the MCU, but separate from Avengers.
Fenix122 - 11/16/2012, 10:03 PM
And I would KILL to have Spider-Man in the movie, but it doesent seem likely.
