VIDEO GAMES: First Footage From TMNT: OUT OF THE SHADOWS

The shellshocked pizza kings are making their return to video game consoles everywhere very soon and you can get your first look at some very exciting footage of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows after the jump!

Check out below, courtesy of IGN, Pre-Alpha footage of Activision's first new game since acquiring the TMNT license. The game is titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of The Shadows and will be a downloadable-only game released this summer. The game will be developed by Red Fly Studios (Thor: God Of Thunder) and released on Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network and Steam this Summer.

this looks really cool. The movements look great. i can't wait to play a 4 player co-op. It seems like they have a wide range of moves.

This is [frick]ing awesome. Why couldn't they do this with the Arkham games? Batman, Robin and Nightwing Tag team?

At first I thought this was the Ninja Turtle game being developed by Rocksteady. Either way, it looks like a good game, but I don't like the idea of it being downloadable only. It's better buying it in stores!

Movements look like crap, they in no way say "ninja".Who choreographed their fighting styles? All they did was recycled Batman's fighting gameplay and controls. 4 player co op is great but they should have really attempted to create something new and fresh for Tmnt. Each turtles physic and face still look like crap and they are all to tall.

The game should be 4player Co-op and very stealth based combat, of course have some all out brawls but the environment should be heavy involved, not just some square you fight in, lame...Players should have choices such as a smoke bomb that would take them out of combat allowing for stealth game play and takeouts.

Yeah, yeah, I know nerd rage but Im just so sick of garbage TMNT games. Havent played a good TMNT since the arcade and NES. Same goes for Spiderman.

Hooooly whaaaaat?

So good that they're going with the original TMNT lore in mind. It seems like the entire turtles universe has since gone way off its rocker.

CrashTest@ i will be easy on you because you seem to be self aware of your "nerd rage" - but c'mon this game looks awesome!!!! it's in pre-alpha. this will in no way be close to the finished product. INJUSTICE looked the same way- all choppy with bad animation but they smoothed everything out and now it looks great! we're just getting a peak at what's to come. 10 years ago we would never see this stage of development.

i agree that this doesn't quite seem like the turtles game we need or deserve. the fact that it's download only makes me think this game will be very limited and not the fleshed out AAA TMNT story/game we should be getting. i blame mobile gaming.

Wow this is a small downloadable game? Really wish they got a bigger funding with this and make it a bit of a more AAA game to flush it out more. Looks amazing. Pretty much Batman Arkham City but with Co-Op

The turtles nostrils are really creepy

This looks awesome! I like the little touches they make, where Raph will straight ground and pound dudes and Mikey spins on his shell and stuff. It looks like each style is distinctly different enough to keep it fun. Crazy this is just downloadable. Probably the first downloadable game I'd ever get.

I like it but the TMNT's are in actuality like 4 feet tall. I don't like that they are the same height as the Foot Clan Ninjas. It makes them look like big Dudes in Rubber Turtle costumes flying around. :P

I had a dream about TMNT last night. This game looks like it has potential.

Hell Yeah! TMNT is back! And thank God this has no connection to Michael Bay's movie!
