For months, we have been hearing about what Chris Evans experienced during the casting process for Marvel Studios' next summer blockbuster, Captain America: The First Avenger. However, Evans seems to have left out one minor detail: he had to compete in a beauty pageant for the role!

In this sketch from a taping of Conan, Coco explains how the beauty pageant worked and reveals Evans' competition for the titular role of the movie!

Indeed; its like imagining Chuck Norris without his beard, or Tom Shelleck without his mustache, or Stone Cold Steve Austin with hair.

I live in Utah and when they had captain Utah come out I said to myself, "Awesome, they got one of the six black guys in Utah." I miss diversity.
