Oh wow, I thought it would be the Iron Giant!
GuardianAngel - 7/29/2014, 4:44 PM
Classic Superman.
Brainiac13 - 7/29/2014, 4:50 PM
I thought this was canceled?
DaVinci31 - 7/29/2014, 4:52 PM
That last bit would be pretty awesome to witness live-action.

@DeusExSponge

Oh god, why did you have to bring that up?

The robot is the lovechild of the Iron Giant and Apocalypse? O_O'

I heard this was great when the digital version was released. I'd like to pick it up.

@Brainiac13
The print edition is months behind the digital edition. I think it's nearly concluded in print, it's definitely over digitally.

There was something a bit odd about reading these panels and then it hit me, this is the real Superman!

Looking forward to the TPB!

ahh, such fantastic, classic Superman...i'm very glad DC recognizes there's still an audience for this.

i saw a meteor last night. first time i ever saw one. it was really cool. long, flaming tail on it and it looked much closer than where airplanes usually are. only a slight downward trajectory. didn't hear any noise from it

Classic

Lois Lane looking like Amy Adams now! LOL!

this takes me back to the superman of my youth. looks great
Sophisticated - 7/30/2014, 3:40 AM
Why does superman wear his undies on the outside? Does nobody have the balls to tell him about it?
ManCalledSting - 7/30/2014, 3:53 AM
While I prefer the New 52 suit, I must admit, it's awesome to see the classic suit.

McGee: I don't see it.

Sophisticated: Well, I wouldn't if he was real. The reason they've drawn him that way for years, is to break up the colors a bit.
AreTudaEDub - 7/30/2014, 4:20 AM
The old man that superman fished out the water looks like Joe Kubert! RIP.
Phlegmbot - 7/30/2014, 7:56 PM
It's beautiful art, but the poses of Superman, from him holding back the train to him seeing the robot float from the drink, all lack some basic dynamism that I'd expect.
