A few new set photos have just hit the web from filming that occurred around Union Square, NYC. No villains this time, possibly something a little more romantic. Are Peter (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen (Emma Stone) on a date?

Many of you would agree, the most powerful scenes from The Amazing Spider-Man were in fact the Peter Parker/Gwen Stacy scenes. Andrew & Emma's chemistry is unmatchable, so now feast your eyes on some new set photos of Peter & Gwen out on a date, the photos aren't very exciting but at least they are something!

















For Peter Parker, life is busy. Between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen Stacy, high school graduation cannot come quickly enough. Peter has not forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away, but that is a promise he cannot keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro, emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn, returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Okay. Remember the hair comments two years ago? Of course you do.., but moving on.., yeah, whoever is in charge of wardrobe/hair needs to be given his/her slip. Makeup looks good thus far, but I'm actually having to psych myself for the film and every "PeterParker" promo shot. His new look is worse! Way worse! You actually consolidated his non-mainstream look to Bieber-esque or Twi-hardish and not cool for the fringe. Wow! See bitchy fanbolas? Things can actually get worse. Change can drop to the neg. The risk you take being so confident from a basement or smartphone. Narratively, the film will probably be extremely better than the feet first May, early pool entry we got in July last year.

PS--> Lifeguarded at a country club for four years. Also did public facilities too; don't get me started. ;-P It's called parenting.., we all make mistakes.., but like that song: "..it takes two.., it takes two.., me and....."

...with the number 42 shaved in the back. That's a stab at the sensationalism of ignorance and inaccuracies that continue on in Hollywoodland, CA. and across the USA postulating themselves as epic, heroic and so forth. A patch on the arm or logo on the cap is enough. Hell the scorekeepers by the end of the week are probably wondering why greater figures in baseball history's past got less and deserved more. :-P There's probably a good story there.., oh wait.., nope. Maybe in ten years the Cohens could make an interesting film about the behind the scenes of baseball 50-60 years ago.., but good frickin' luck!

For some reason has the level dropped through a selection process of some sort? Interns? "Lie & Wait" motif? Are some blissfully reminiscing about the load from the MOS trailer? ST was Abram;s ST. Iron Man 3 was awkward, cool, but awkward(RDJ too great of posture).

You know, the number of people who complained about Peter breaking his promise to Captain Stacy surprised me. Peter breaking that promise is just going to ramp up the guilt factor when Gwen dies.

My magic 8 troll says that Andrew Garfield is the youngest looking Spidey they've ever cast! Place argument elsewhere and it will have more effect. Who am I to suggest.., I don't operate or ever plan to accept "who you know".

On the way to a job interview, I once passed a lineup(being directed by my friend, current manager) of 50 to 60 people that waited outside in the middle of a sunny central FL summer day in dress clothes knowing I had the job and the interview was just a formality. The night before was my best friend's bachelor party and I still had dry fluids crusting off my body the next morning as my current live-in girlfriend woke me up with 5 min to spare(I lived a block away from the interview). I threw on the pants and button up shirt and shot out the door commando. This is just one of the few gainful employment stories I have.

It's the Reno 911/State folks. Not interested? Cool, "but, I wanna' dip my balls into your lack of interest agenda." :-D

The State was an awesome show on MTV and helped pave the way for less music on the MTV main station. Huh, for one season, they helped Jon Stewart allow the Chitauri down into Cleveland.., I don't know, something about a deal: Christopher Cross's address for the salvation and safety of the citizens of Cleveland and Earth. The Chitauri watched "The Secret of My Success" to kill time outside the wormhole(?) and man are they just pissed off by '80's soundtracks and nothing more at this point. They don't even remember who "the other" is. They think it's some Naomi Watts/Nicole Kidman easy paycheck supernatural suspense film that takes place on a remote beautiful location that only a royal could not stand for 3 months.

I love TASM and I love Andrew Garfield, but I don't love the new closely cropped haircut. It makes him look a little goofy.
