Kristin Kreuk Won't Be Watching the Smallville Finale

Hollywood Life caught up with Kristin Kreuk for this brief video interview in which she states that she probably won't be watching the Smallville finale ("Maybe on DVD") and comments on being cast in Ron Moore's 17th Precinct.

It seems like there was some bad blood between the actors/ actresses and the show producer / writers, or whoever makes decisions. Kristin and Rosembaum may have wanted producer rights, but Welling is the only one that go it. Whatever the case, she shouldn't have said that, it makes her look bad.

This just shows you that actors/actress don't give a damn about tv shows or movies to them it's just a job and to feed hungry fans of the show some stuff to watch. On there mind smallville should have tied everything in season 7 as the final season, and all cast knows it, they just wanted money and a job for another 2 years or more. Simple it's business.

I'm not sure but I don't think they even asked her to appear in the finale. So if that's true, she deserves to be pissed. Like her or not, the entire show revolved around Clark-Lana-Lex for like 7 years.

And if she said no, screw her. She's not necessary to the story and Durance is a billion times better anyway.

That was lame, she could have just said that she hasn't kept up with the show, so is wouldn't make sense to just watch the end, but instead she had to be a b!tch about it, like she is soo much better. At least Rosenbaum remained civil and respectful to people after he left.

@itashy The length of a show does not necessarily mean it's good. It just means there are lots of suckers. People are entertained by all sorts of stupid schlock all the time. If you like it that's fine, just don't go around telling people that they shouldn't be aloud to post wherever they please. If there is a lot of dislike or "hate" for it on this site it's for a reason. As for Kristin she says she won't watch the finale. That's fine too. I'm just glad she won't be IN it.

I blame CW for turning the show to crap. It was actually good when the station was the WB. Oh well shes junk anyway, honestly hoped she would die in every episode since season 5 like i had hoped for Chloe to die in seasons 8-9. Have fun making Sh*t Fighter 2!

I hated always having to watch Lana and Clark in the loft at the end of every episode and was glad when she left the show, BUT I think it's crappy of the producers and the writers to not bring her back in one of these last episodes to close up all of her plot loopholes (remember she let with kryptonite infected super skin) and close the door on her character properly. She was a big part of the show for most of it's run and the character of Lana Lang needs to have all of it's loose threads cleaned up and sent off properly.

Could have easily done it in just one of these two filler episodes they wasted time and money on.

So from what we've heard over the past few weeks...Rosenbaum basically called the Smallville producers and volunteered himself to be in the finale and shot scenes for 19 hours. While little Kristin Kreuk here won't even WATCH it?? What an ungrateful bit*h, Smallville is what made her.

I think everyone's been attacking the wrong person here (Rosenbaum) ;D

Gee, way to say "thank you" to those that became your fans because of Smallville, Kristin..... aside from guest spots on other shows, what have you done lately that stood out? Regardless of any untold bad blood behind the scenes with either producers or actors/actresses, it was also the fans that made you a household name during your time there. Crap show or not, Smallville will still be attached to your resume' and what you will be most famous for for a LONG time.

nobody would know about her if it weren't for Smallville. Honestly, if it weren't for SV, I wouldn't be a CBM fan today. So F[rick] her, she acted like she had never heard of the show. Ok, the show may not be the best ever, they act like they've never heard of Superman, but she would probably be shooting insurance commercials if not for the show. So, for that reason, I say to hell with her and she can do whatever crappy movie/show she wants to... i won't be watching. M.R. was a much better actor/person than she was and he at least had the decency to come back for the final episode, she should at least have the decency to watch it.... ungrateful [female dog]

Like Rosenbaum, it sounds like she's another one who got pissed off by someone in the production office, crew, or at the network. Make your career/the show or not, that's still a big hurdle to overcome, professionally.
