COMIC NEWS: Justice League Beyond & Batman Beyond Unlimited Coming in 2012

Bleeding Cool is reporting that fans of the Batman Beyond universe are going to be very happy come February 2012 with a pair of titles that will continue that world in two very distinct ways.

Notes the site, "In February 2012, DC will launch Batman Beyond Unlimited, a 48 page monthly book in print collecting weekly digital-first chapters featuring fyure DC Universe tales of Batman Beyond and Justice League Beyond, a monthly print periodical which will collect chapters from various digital-first series. Justice League Beyond is by Dustin Nguyen and Derek Fridolfs, which explains this article from Bleeding Cool last month, while Adam Beecham and Norm Breyfogle tackle the Batman Beyond book."

one thing about batman beyond bothered me when i watched them all a little while ago...why arent any of those kids texting?? then i realized the show was made before texting really took off haha

@nephillim. Its ok, the beyond future isn't the dc we know's future. its just a possible future. I think in one of the batman beyond books or a cross over they said that beyond universe is one of the infinite parallel universes in the dc universe, just like superboy prime (how can it be multiple and still be called UNIverse? shouldn't it be multiverse?).

It's actually a really bold method for a superhero comic that obviously is experimentation for what DC may do with digital publishing. That itself is good but I was always let down by Batman Beyond.

The DC Multiverse still exists the new JSA series will be on Earth 2. It's still a possible future or takes place in another universe.

I liked in the last batman beyond comic, the league wanted him to join and bruce was saying no way, they get in the way, so bats said i will join under 2 conditions. Gotham is my city, stay out unless asked in. and number 2 - if i say i'm busy, then i am busy and leave me alone. Bruce than told him. hey, that was really smart. nicely played.

The 'Batman Beyond' series is back in January.
Title: 'Batman Beyond-10,000 Clowns'.
So that's two BB a month.

i like the lineup and the look concept...just add a flash beyond version and static shock somewhere in there.

but, i think this look could be dc's own ULTIMATE jla concept.
