Suicidal Edward Furlong in The Green Hornet?

A comeback for Crow/Terminator actor Furlong? That is if he doesn't kill himself.
People is reporting that actor Edward Furlong, who rose to fame in Terminator 2 is going through some tough times:

"He has gotten really upset – anybody would," the friend says of Furlong, who is slated to start production on "The Green Hornet" this weekend. "We're trying to get him back to a place where he's calming down and talking to everybody."

Umm...I had never heard he was in this movie. I wonder what role he'd play, and if his character is even important to the story.

The story also says Eddie is still a mess.

Actor Eddie Furlong has recently threatened suicide and was placed under psychiatric lockdown, his estranged wife alleges in a restraining order she obtained against him in Los Angeles.

Rachael Kneeland, who is in the midst of divorcing the actor, claims Furlong's "drug use has escalated along with attacking me and threatening my life," according to the Superior Court papers.

SirPrize - 9/30/2009, 10:04 AM
Why are all my childhood heroes dead or trying to commit suicide(Jonathan Brandis R.I.P.).

What the hell is so bad about being rich? I can't seem to understand.

I will break through the lies to find the secret of suicide in Hollywood
supermarioworldE - 9/30/2009, 10:08 AM
PEOPLE HAVE PROBLEMS.
GUNSMITH - 9/30/2009, 10:10 AM

KeepItReal - 9/30/2009, 10:14 AM
JOSH @ Check out THE CROW 4 on DVD, he's the star of it, its pretty bad, but watchable lol. Ol' DAVID from ANGEL/BONES was the worst thing in that movie though, very bad lol.

Bamf @ Great suff!
LEEE777 - 9/30/2009, 10:16 AM
LEEE@ that movie is god awful.....one reason why i cant take peoples opinion that BOREnaze is a good versatile actor :)
teabag - 9/30/2009, 10:19 AM
@Tea - And you would know what a god awful movie is??
Minotauro - 9/30/2009, 10:26 AM
KIR, I say the same thing of myself!! Any woman that marries a nut job is crazy herself!

WheelJack - 9/30/2009, 10:29 AM
THEY WANT HIM FOR "THE CROW" ?? .... HE LOOKS COOL AND ALL, BUT I THINK BY CASTING HIM, IT WOULD LIKE LKE AN ANIME / MANGA ..........
FrankCastle1 - 9/30/2009, 10:30 AM
omg phin! did you see the article where that clueless dumb bitch is wearing WW belt??!! are you kidding me?!! she doesnt get WW so she doesnt get to wear the belt!!! do you know where she is so i can WHOOP HER ASS WITH IT?!!! MALDITA SEA ESA CABRONA!

FrankCastle1, nice avatar... LOL!
necrosage2005 - 9/30/2009, 10:33 AM
BOREnaze lmao @ TEA!! : D
LEEE777 - 9/30/2009, 10:35 AM
he has issues, now everybody knows.
SHHH - 9/30/2009, 10:36 AM
I did KIR! That piece of work and Furlong would be good for each other. Because in a few years her career will be in the same place! Nowhere. The Myth gave me a ration of crap for always picking on toe-thumbs on every post about her. But she deserves it!
Phinehas - 9/30/2009, 10:39 AM
BOREnaze!! Lmao TEA!! : D
LEEE777 - 9/30/2009, 10:39 AM
Drugs made his ass worse!
SHHH - 9/30/2009, 10:40 AM
I did not write that twice!! : D
LEEE777 - 9/30/2009, 10:41 AM
Pet Cemetary II. He had mommy issues. And a Fat kid died.
Smolo - 9/30/2009, 10:42 AM
I hope he dont see this blog.
SHHH - 9/30/2009, 10:43 AM
Phin: truth hurts. picking on toe thumbs LOL!! if she wouldnt stick her foot in her mouth everytime. She doesnt learn. Its like she is incapable of learning. She doesnt think before she talks.Everytime. Its not little slip ups here or there either. She thinks she can just get by on her looks. Beauty fades... She does deserve it.

Edward: JUST SAY NO.
KeepItReal - 9/30/2009, 10:46 AM
LOL- "Edward: JUST SAY NO."

You're setting Edward up with the standards! That's awesome. No, she doesn't learn, because what you said about getting by on looks and beauty fading is so abundantly true! Not only that, but even if she still had her looks and continues on with being a little burr in people's saddlebags, she'll lose friends, and thus, opportunities. Hollywood is an insiders town. That's why they tolerate so much of each others crap! That's why you see A-list actors relagated to straight-to-video. They pissed on someone's feet.
Mark my words. "Straight-to-video"

BTW, great to see you again, KIR!
Phinehas - 9/30/2009, 10:53 AM
EricDraven1- He was the lead character in the Crow: Wicked Prayer. It went straight to dvd and for a good reason. It was not a good movie. I liked the crow salvation but wicked prayer was pretty bad.
ironknight27 - 9/30/2009, 10:58 AM
This is really sad. Furlong is a talented actor, and I've enjoyed his performances in everything I've seen him in (check out Pecker or American History X for two of my favorites). I'd heard a while back that he was caught up in the drug lifestyle, but that he was in rehab and trying to get his life back on track. Evidently, it didn't work out. Here's a guy that really needs to find a good clean-living woman, Jesus, or both before he winds up as yet another talented young actor feeding the worms.
comicb00kguy - 9/30/2009, 11:03 AM
Phin: straight to video..hehehe..haha... she better start getting used to it! her last movie..jennifers body didnt do too well..the start of a beautiful new stank-ship! gg... After what Bay had her do in Tranformers 2 she is going to do 3 now? doesnt learn. He made her look stupid & she let him. I liked the part when the robot said: "ooooh she's hot but she aint too bright"!!! LMAO! he put her down so many times like when she landed in that guys crotch. now was that really necessary? could she not have protested? lol!

awww... thanks Phin! its good to be back. missed you & the other guys too =)

History X was a great movie. Mostly enjoyed Ed Nortons performance best though.
KeepItReal - 9/30/2009, 11:06 AM
lol.

Pecker.

American History X is one of the greatest films ever made - but it's not cause of Furlong. Norton all the way man - that performance was epic.

This kid is talented though - shame he's hooked on goofballs.

Keven - 9/30/2009, 11:06 AM
off topic. This news is really sad. Lets change it a little, aicn has a script review for PREDAtors and its rated R.
SHHH - 9/30/2009, 11:08 AM
Keven- I am with you on American History X. Norton is a damn good actor. I remember the movie Pecker. Hehe...Pecker.
ironknight27 - 9/30/2009, 11:11 AM
Keven: As far as modern cinema is concerned, absolutely! Solidified for me Norton's range. Primal was good, but could have been a fluke. NOPE! Norton knows his craft.

KIR: Robot humping on her leg! That's her value in Bey's eyes! LOL

"Coming soon on Paramount Home Video...
Megan Fox of Transformers fame stars in..."
Phinehas - 9/30/2009, 11:18 AM
ohhh primal... another great movie. it could have been a fluke...but norton made it great. richard gere was good but norton stole his thunder! norton was amazing.

straight to video... lol! even that is too good for her.
KeepItReal - 9/30/2009, 11:27 AM
You're right, KIR! It should be one of those really small film companies. LOL
Yeah, I don't ever remember seeing gerbil-Gere do anything that stretched him (LOL as an actor that is[save Officer and a Gentlmen]). I bet he's been successful because he has a good eye for projects that he knows will make him "look good".
Phinehas - 9/30/2009, 11:34 AM
he sounds like a good guy...this is definately the guy i would trust to save humanity from skynet
CorndogBurglar - 9/30/2009, 11:46 AM
haha..gerbil gere..havent seen him since he was wanted for kissing Aishrya in public. tailored made movies. lol.

recap... seth green for green hornet. Nic cage dropped out of it for "creative differences" and now meth kid attempting suicide may or may not be in the movie......... doesnt bode well for the movie im thinking.
KeepItReal - 9/30/2009, 12:07 PM
I hope he gets the help he needs, to have a better life.
Darekster - 9/30/2009, 12:13 PM
HOLY SH!T =

Look at the video above me. That's crazy man.

Thanks for posting that in here - it relates to the article in so many ways and is worth every second of it's SEVEN AND A HALF MINUTE RUNTIME. I hope someone rolls you up in a carpet and throws you off a bridge.

Unless you're a little kid. Then I'm sorry.

As for the headline of this news - I award this best headline of 2009.
Keven - 9/30/2009, 12:43 PM
Keep it real, you mean seth rogan.
bubastis237 - 9/30/2009, 1:12 PM
Oh god this doesn't sound good.
Bandrews1 - 9/30/2009, 1:29 PM
Haha wow I just noticed this was on the main page. Yeah, I don't know how I feel about him being in this movie...although, I don't yet know how I feel about actually SEEING this movie either. We'll see.

@Keven - I deleted that video. No matter how old they are, if they are old enough to know how to post a video, they are old enough to know if it makes sense to post it or not. Ugh.
Bamf7 - 9/30/2009, 1:37 PM
LEE: Boreanez is actually a really good actor! Look up the episode, "The Hero in the Hold" (Season 4, Episode 14) on www.surfthechannel.com and you'll see what I mean! :)
joshw24 - 9/30/2009, 1:45 PM
The Crow: Wicked Prayer was just gawd-awful and I don't think it was the actors that were to blame...it had some good actors who acted bad...it was obviously the screenwriter and the Director and the Crow running out of Steam!
DDD - 9/30/2009, 2:51 PM
joshw24- Boreanez is awesome but even he couldnt save Wicked Prayer. Like DDD said it was not the actors who should be blamed. I actually thought at one point Boreanez would have made a good Batman. He still kicks ass on Bones.
ironknight27 - 9/30/2009, 2:54 PM
JOSH @ Cheers for the link, i'll check it out, hey ive seen a couple of BONES dont like that show, but i really liked ANGEL!

But trust me JOSH good or bad actor, he was really bad in CROW 4, he hammed it to the max!! Maybe the studio wanted him that way though lol, who knows.

Man, i miss ANGEL! That was a cool show! Just bought a dvd set.

Best CROW sequel was 3 = Salvation!
LEEE777 - 9/30/2009, 3:12 PM
BoneyArse is a tv actor through and through :P
teabag - 9/30/2009, 4:17 PM
LEEE- Salvation was really good!
ironknight27 - 9/30/2009, 4:31 PM
@EVERYONE CHECK OUT THIS FOOTAGE OF THE GREEN HORNET IT SHOWS WHAT ROGEN WILL LOOK LIKE http://splashnewsonline.celebuzz.com/2009/09/green-hornet-explosion.html#more
Swiftsword777 - 9/30/2009, 4:51 PM
Swift@ i take it they were the stunt men :)
teabag - 9/30/2009, 5:09 PM
bubastis237 : "Keep it real, you mean seth rogan."

oh... I dont mean to be. I actually like him alot. He was hilarious in Pineapple Express which is really the whole problem. He is too funny to be Green Hornet. He's going to make a joke out of it. The movie has the potential to be kick ass but not so much with him at the helm imho. Still love Seth, just not for this particular project. =)
KeepItReal - 9/30/2009, 6:01 PM
LEE: yeah,i guess all actors have good and bad moments! the episode above i said about is actually a really different episode of Bones...and hopefully enough to convince you that Boreanez would make an awesome Wonder Man, lol! :)
joshw24 - 9/30/2009, 7:37 PM
Damn...
MrDCGuy23 - 9/30/2009, 9:03 PM
Anyone else think that Eddie looks like Gilbert Grape's mother in that pic?

Rorschach01 - 9/30/2009, 9:08 PM
Ror@ lmao
teabag - 10/1/2009, 6:02 AM
@Ror - Yes.
Bamf7 - 10/1/2009, 7:59 AM
