After a successful $65 million opening domestically for a worldwide $100 million cume (and counting!), Paramount Pictures' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is ready to reveal their home media release! This Blu-ray combo pack will include Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD copies as well as an exclusive item you can't find anywhere else.

Introducing the "Raphael Gift Set", a statue designed after how the turtle rebel appears in the actual film! This work of art stands 6.5 inches tall and captures Raph's likeness, including his red bandana, black sunglasses and of course the twin sais. Raphael is actually the winner of an online contest that was conducted to determine who would be included with this Amazon limited edition set. It also contains a highly-detailed street scenery and sewer base spanning 7 inches wide and 5 inches deep housed inside a giant box.

There's no release date yet, but seeing as how Paramount's other Transformers: Age of Extinction is headed to home media sooner rather than later, perhaps we can expect the same for Ninja Turtles!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is in theaters now in 2D and RealD 3D.

Movie was quite possibly worse than Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III. This film was just God-Awful.

@blackandyellow
I would be so freakin mad if that didn't make me laugh...

@TheGambitFreakIsBatmanOfCBM, I have not seen the new TMNT, but I highly doubt it sucks worse than TMNT III, heck the TMNT trilogy sucks ass.

This movie gets a lot of hate because nostalgia makes the classic films look like masterpieces but, in reality the classic movies are pretty bad themselves. BUT! TMNT(2014) is a fun movie to just keep back and enjoy it.

I've never posted on this site before. But I will to defend this movie. Was it an Oscar winner? Not by any stretch of the imagination. It was not the same Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie I grew up watching, but as a Turtle Fan I loved it just the same if not more. There were many references and Easter eggs that old school TMNT fans will love if they truly love the franchise. I wish everyone would quit complaining about things just because it's not the original. If you have actual plot points you dislike, cool I respect that. But this movie was very fun and I even want to see it a second time!

Oh I know the 90's movies are bad, I'm not saying they were good. But they're watchable. The "You dirty rat" and "Napkins? What for?" are memorable lines. But this movie? It was so bad. Nothing was original. Leo cutting up a pizza and one slice falls on Splinter's head. Where have I seen that before? End fight with Shredder where the boys have to learn they have to fight together to defeat him? Come on. I didn't laugh once. I didn't smile and even in a theater full of children with turtle shells and masks on, it was pretty silent throughout. Learning ninjutsu from a book? Guys, come on! 24 years ago they came up with "A rat learning fighting techniques from watching his master do them beside him." How in the heck did we get lower than that? And who would've figured the best acted character out of this thing would've been [frick]ing Vernon? Action was great, I'll give it that. But not much else. A very solid and sturdy 1.5/5

The movie was basically the same as the first two (especially the first one), but with WAY better action, and the turtles looked better in this.

The original Turtles movie was beyond epic for that time period, but when you look at them now, not that great looking.
TheAmarilloBlack - 8/14/2014, 9:20 AM
Same as the first two?! This was an original take on the Turtles with more influence from the Nick animated series than the comics. It barely had any martial arts action in it at all. The jokes were mostly lame and the origin of Splinter and the Turtles was nigh shameful.

1990's movie was leaps and bounds more entertaining and faithful than this cash grab.
TheAmarilloBlack - 8/14/2014, 9:29 AM
The mere fact that the boys felt the need to wear clothes even tho they never were supposed to be seen above ground is baffling. Raphael's sunglasses pissed me off SO bad. Same with Leo's armor. They have shells!

I have yet to take my child to see this. I'm dreading spending money on this movie.

The clothes they wore bothered you? Yet a thousand action figures and tv episodes put the turtles in various different outfits. Mostly comical.
juwono - 8/14/2014, 10:26 AM
it was a good movie, with a lot old school refrence, it was fun. it's not perfect , but it is not bad.

3.5 / 5 for movie goers
4 / 5 for tmnt lover
RangerStorm44 - 8/14/2014, 10:33 AM

I loved the "tonight I dine on turtle soup" throwback line.
sianirudh94 - 8/14/2014, 8:46 PM
Seriously hope its an extended edition of Director's Cut. Feel like so much got left in the cutting room! Where was disguise Raph? And I feel like Mikey gives a tour of the Lair which got cut as well!
RangerStorm44 - 8/16/2014, 12:07 AM
