The highly anticipated follow up to Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz is finally making some significant progress. After it was announced recently that the film would start production in the coming months, after a lengthy time between instalments (with Hot Fuzz coming out in 2007), we finally have visual confirmation of this fact.

Set during an epic pub crawl the film, as far as we can tell by the title, deals with The World's End. The movie is expected to be released later next year and if production is speedy then it leaves most of 2013 free for director Edgar Wright to work on Ant-Man for Marvel Studios.

The images appear to show a flashback or earlier time frame with younger versions of the characters.

Simon Pegg has gotten fitter and fitter over the years. Now his legs look in shape. I always thought of him as something of a pastry dish.

Hey, anyone sees Simon Pegg as Scott Lang? not hank pym but he could be a nice scott lang in Ant-Man 2 when hank pym is away with the big boys ;)

MARVELPSYCHO79 - 9/17/2012, 8:10 AM
I hope he jumps right into production on Ant-Man after he finishes this film.I'm ready for Ant-Man and I can't wait to see the test footage he shot.Edgar Wright is a great choice to direct this film and it should be worth the wait.
MARVELPSYCHO79 - 9/17/2012, 8:24 AM
I think Ant-Man does not deserve an freanchise like Iron Man,Thor,or Captain America have.I think the character should have this one movie and that's it.I think this movie will feature The Pyms and Scott Lang because Edgar seems to be adapting the Marvel Spotlight comic he had at Comic-Con.The Pyms need to be introduced and put in the Avengers sequels.Plus he does not have a great rogues gallery, only Ultron.I kinda hope the rumors are true that he will face Radioactive Man in the movie.
