The term "villain" is hard to define in the Marvel universe these days. Venom and Loki are Avengers, Magneto is an X-Man, Doc Ock is the new Spider-Man and General Ross is a Hulk to name a few.
Nevertheless, as it approaches one year of being online, Playdom's Avengers Alliance is giving players the chance to play one of the bad guys. That bad guy? None other than the master of magnetism, Magneto.
In a new Special Op, which also grants users the ability to play as Havok of the Uncanny Avengers, you collect lockboxes which grant rare or common items and possibly a comic book cover should you unlock ten or more in a round. Collect all comic covers and Magneto becomes yours to control.
