VIDEO GAMES: YOUNG JUSTICE May Provide A Future To The Franchise

In an interview with Comic Book Resources, Little Orbit CEO gives a little hope about Young Justice stories continuing in an interactive form.

Young Justice: Legacy, announced last year for a Spring 2013 release is an action-RPG that bridges the five year gap between season 1 and Young Justice: Invasion. In an interview with Comic Book Resources, CEO Matthew Scott was asked how the cancellation of the show had affected the development of the game, he had this to say:

" It hasn't. We're late-stage between beta and GMC. The game's done and the story's done. The creators of the show were heavily involved. The game is, for all intents and purposes, done. "Young Justice" not coming back for a third season has no impact whatsoever..."

Scott also had stated about future video games in the franchise continuing on from the story after season 2:

"...We have this license for a long time, so it's possible we'll get to play out some of the stuff they had planned in interactive form instead of on Cartoon Network."



Anyone who wants to see more adventures from the Young Justice team should pick up Young Justice: Legacy for most major consoles when it's available sometime in 2013. You can read the full interview at the link below.
