Deadpool Creator Says X-FORCE Script Is Complete. Could It Be Fox's Mystery Film?

According to the creator of Marvel Comics' X-Force, Rob Liefeld, the Jeff Wadlow X-Force script is complete. Is it the mystery Fox film currently slated for release in 2018?

Editor's Note: There seems to be some confusion here.  Liefeld is merely commenting on the fact that the X-Force script is complete. The CBR articles called the project a rumor and Liefeld simply wanted to correct that portion of the article. In no way is he saying that X-Force is the 2018 Fox Marvel movie. Could it be? We don't know. But this isn't confirmation.

It looks like Fox's nameless Marvel film coming in 2018 is X-Force! The creator of Deadpool, one of the team's longest serving members, took to twitter in response to an article by ComicBookResources to say that the 2018 project will be X-Force, as well as announcing that the script for the film is ready and in Fox's hands. Check it out:

Close, but no cigar.
GizmoEl - 3/25/2014, 10:35 AM
Hope it's Deadpool, Psylocke, Cable, Archangel, and Fantomex
BruceLeroy - 3/25/2014, 10:36 AM
Can't wait to see how Fox butchers X-Force.
Melkaticox - 3/25/2014, 10:37 AM
I want to see Black&White X-Force...
Without Wolverine.
JatevinM - 3/25/2014, 10:38 AM
I'm pretty fine with Wolverine starting X-Force
TheDarkLord - 3/25/2014, 10:40 AM
Alright!?
Dinotron - 3/25/2014, 10:44 AM
Maybe we can finally see hugh in a costume. This gives him a perfectly good reason to start wearing a costume
TheMexicanSuperman - 3/25/2014, 10:45 AM
@Gusto, haha wtf.
TheMexicanSuperman - 3/25/2014, 10:47 AM
I wish Fox would release X-Force in 2016 with X-Men Apocalypse.
Curmudgeon - 3/25/2014, 10:47 AM
He's not saying that at all.

He's just saying that the X-Force film is not a RUMOR (as the article in that link stated.)
CoolioVids101 - 3/25/2014, 10:47 AM
I honestly don't care
TheClemster - 3/25/2014, 10:49 AM
I want Cable in a movie so bad
CaptainComicBook - 3/25/2014, 10:55 AM
If this gets made and we get Deadpool, Cable and Domino, I will take back every hateful thing I've said about the foX-men.
MatTaylorX - 3/25/2014, 10:55 AM
CoolioVids101. Yes you do clearly care. That's why you're here commenting.
JerBear - 3/25/2014, 10:56 AM
This is the one time where I actually want Fox to deviate from the comics. PLEASE DO NOT PUT WOLVERINE IN THIS MOVIE.
MercwithMouth - 3/25/2014, 10:56 AM
I want Cable! (Played by Dominic Purcell) and Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds), and Archangel!(played by Charlie Hunnam), and I want it now!
Dotanuki - 3/25/2014, 10:56 AM
Since Apocalypse played such a large role in the awesome Uncanny X-Force series, I wonder if they will try to tie that into the X-Men: Apocalypse movie. They really should.
Bl00dwerK - 3/25/2014, 10:56 AM
Could be awesome but you know it won't be...
Nivekian - 3/25/2014, 10:57 AM
People are on crack to buy Rob's tweets trying to keep him relevant. Fox should be barred from releasing more Marvel films, not given more property to screw up.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!

YOSS IS CABLE

MercwithMouth - 3/25/2014, 10:58 AM
Would love it if they could use Apocalypse to bring back Nightcrawler, and put him on the XForce team! Just recast, as Alan Cummings refused to return due to the makeup process.
TheClemster - 3/25/2014, 10:58 AM
@ mercwithmouth

WHAT YOU SAY!!!!!!!

Completely agree, ... And I want it now too !!!!
JerBear - 3/25/2014, 10:58 AM
Deadpool, Cable, Domino, X-23, and Fantomex. There's your roster FOX. No Wolverine.
Deadpool101 - 3/25/2014, 11:00 AM
YES YESS!!!! Finally I might be getting a decent Deadpool on screen. Wouldn't mind if they had to recast Ryan either.
BatManHeisenberg - 3/25/2014, 11:04 AM
Awesome shit, yo!
DestroyerofHaters - 3/25/2014, 11:05 AM
Don't care if he's in 20 movies. Still don't get the hate for Hugh Jackman and Wolverine.
OpticBlastWins - 3/25/2014, 11:06 AM
Makes the most sense
Pasto - 3/25/2014, 11:06 AM
DestroyerofHaters
He gets hate because he is always the focus of those 20 films.
Doopie - 3/25/2014, 11:06 AM

JoJo1982 - 3/25/2014, 11:07 AM
If the script is ready then it's not too late for a 2016 release date like it was supposed to come out
Deadpool101 - 3/25/2014, 11:12 AM
Cable,Deapool,Fantomex,Domino,Archangel and Cannonball. Perfect team.
sKeemAn - 3/25/2014, 11:12 AM
Please, please do not use Wolverine for this. It will be completely centered on him. We need Cable to start X-Force. Hopefully what they will do is introduce Nathan Summers in X-men Apocalypse and have him start the team.
Monitorearthprime - 3/25/2014, 11:14 AM
As far as I know, Wolvie is not supposed to be in the X-Force movie. From what I know Cable is supposed to be the leader.
Tuuralihn - 3/25/2014, 11:15 AM
There are a lot of scripts that are finished and payed for. Doesn't mean it'll be made. But fingers crossed!
DrunkenNukem - 3/25/2014, 11:16 AM
Damn...hope M. Vaughn directs it
Arrow96 - 3/25/2014, 11:17 AM
Is there any chance we get Deadpool in this?
MercwithMouth - 3/25/2014, 11:17 AM
Isn't Wadlow being looked at to Direct?
Arrow96 - 3/25/2014, 11:18 AM
@DrunkenPirateNukem I think Jeff Wadlow will direct it.
