Iranian government bans The Simpsons and Barbie but allows Superman and Spider-Man
Despite The Iranian government's hatred for Western culture they apparently have a soft spot for Superman and Spider-Man.

Well you can now add The SIMPSONS and BARBIE to a list that includes ice cream, homosexuals, freedom of religion, women’s rights, and interest in developing nuclear weapons: all of which are things that are supposedly not in Iran. Two things you can’t add to that list however are admiration and allowance for Spider-Man and Superman dolls. So we can pretty much assume from this that, when those crazy fun loving ayatollahs aren’t busy subjugating women, stoning adulterers, and dreaming of a Jewish genocide, they like to kick back with a good Superman or Spider-Man comic. Why? Well according to an article I found on THE DAILY MAIL ONLINE it’s because Superman and Spider-Man “help the oppressed”.….
